I’ve ordered their açaí bowls many times, both in person and through Uber Eats, and always enjoyed the food. That time (it was about 2 weeks ago but still left a bad taste in my mouth) I tried calling to see if I could place a takeout order over the phone. The experience was really disappointing When the call was answered, the guy on the phone said nothing at all. I wasn’t even sure I had dialed the right place, so I asked who I was calling. He responded, “Why are you calling if you don’t know who you’re calling?” with a very rude attitude. He then mentioned they don’t take phone orders and that this was the first time their phone had even rung. I completely understand if phone orders aren’t something they do, okay no problem, that’s not the issue. The problem was the attitude and unprofessional way the situation was handled. After this experience, I’m not comfortable dealing with this location anymore, which is unfortunate because I really liked them.
recently visited Oakberry in downtown Oakville, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience. The space is clean and welcoming and the staff is super friendly and kind. It’s clear they really care about their customers. I got one of their açai bowls, and honestly, it was delicious! I’ve tried açai bowls at several places before, but this one was on another level. The flavor was so fresh, and everything was perfectly balanced. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend checking them out. 10/10, will definitely be back!
I left a negative review a few months ago after a wrong Uber Eats order, but my recent visits to the Oakberry in downtown Oakville have been great. The service has been friendly, the bowls have been consistently good, and on my last visit the staff offered an immediate solution when they were out of peanut butter. That kind of customer care deserves credit, so I’m updating my rating to four stars. --------------------- Disappointed with today’s order from Oakberry Oakville. We’re regular customers, either visiting in person or ordering through Uber Eats, and we always customize the same acai bowls due to food allergies. This time, the entire order was messed up, missing key ingredients, incorrect toppings, and it felt like they completely ignored the instructions. When you’re spending over $60 for 3 acai bowls, the least you expect is for the order to be accurate. Quality and attention to detail really dropped today.
The bowls are so tasty. I do find the prices pretty expensive though but at the same time it’s a great treat. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area.
We went on Feb 8th and the acai bowl was so delicious! All the toppings were perfectly proportioned and the fruits were fresh. I haven’t found a better place for acai bowl other than oakberry. Please never go away!
I went there today and I had a bad experience. Last week I was there as well (yes, I love Acai), and I was really good attended with a lady, no complaint. But today the guy who attended me was rude, I asked him some questions abou the Acai and he was like “I don’t know I don’t care”. If you check in the pics in attachment you can see in the first bowl ( last week) was normal, with the condiments in the middle, really nice that’s why I come back, because I liked. And in the another picture nothing in the middle… I didn’t liked, and I spent 29$ - really, I loved the place and I really like Acai, but I’m disappointed today.
This is my first time trying an acai. I came in on a sunday lunch, it wasn't busy and I didn't know what to get, but the staff was really friendly, efficient and polite. They helped me choose some toppings and the acai was really good!! ☺️
