Clearly unable to provide exceptional customer service, wouldn't trust a second call! I called asking if they did appraisals, mentioning one day I would like to eventually sell my item. She assumed I wanted her to buy it and immediately yelled, "I'm not interested!" I asked, don't you do appraisals, she said yeah but I'm not interested in buying your table, I said I did not indicate I wanted you to buy it, I started off our conversation with I need an appraisal. I told her I was calling someone else, she hung up. Not sure how they stay in business with such poor business mannerisms. CALL SOMEONE ELSE - THEY DON'T DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS! If I could give zero stars it would still be too many.
I’ve visited this store twice and both times had very disappointing experiences. The first time, I dropped by around noon and was told by the lady—after just a few minutes of browsing—that she had to leave for something and asked me to leave. The second time, I still arrived morning during their business hours, the lady and his husband were just locking the door. They said they were having a family gathering and would not be open that day. On both occasions, there was no apology or explanation offered—only a dismissive attitude. If your store is by appointment only or subject to unpredictable closures, please update your Google listing accordingly. Don’t waste people’s time!!
Absolutely mind-blowing experience. You go in, the lady greets you with a smile, asks if you are going to "browse or buy something". If you choose browse, she would instantly kick you out of the store because she's tired of no one buying anything. I would recommend try going in and tell her that you are going to buy something, see what happens. True RPG experience. 1 star but an unforgettable experience.
The owner kicked us out 2 seconds after entering the store telling us she was tired of people browsing without buying anything. She did the same thing to 2 other visitors while we were passing by. Worth a visit just for the hilarious experience. I'm not sure how people are supposed to buy things without knowing what's in the store or why she leaves a giant OPEN sign on the front window. She might consider operating by appointment instead of being rude to potential customers.
I was in farm boy this morning in line checking out when I witnessed the owner of this shop being very rude to the cashier and called her stupid. This is unacceptable behavior and I will not stand for rudeness. I will not be shopping at this shop as well I will be letting others know. This is not how we talk to people.
Very rude owner and limited selection. The store mainly had trinkets and dishes. Anna was very unpleasant and asked us to leave one minute after we entered the store because we weren’t looking for something in particular and just wanted to browse. Not sure how this place stays open!
Serendipity brought me through the doors of the Gardner's antique shop, wherein I discovered the most wonderful treasures & the most cheerful, engaging proprietors. It just so happened that tucked away inside this treasure trove, was the exactly the item we needed for our new home....we couldn't have dreamed up a more perfect & unique piece to suit our needs. Many thanks to the lovely Gardners, we'll be seeing you again!
