Kids learned skating here with Paige, power skating with Bergeron. They are all top coaches. Pat’s class simply awful, although he tried, kids stand most of time. I recommend OHA’s 3 on 3.
The best hockey development program in Oakville and surrounding areas. If you want your child to develop hockey skills early to prep them for either house league or rep programs, OHA is the best. Their skilled coaches know what they’re doing. It’s not like other programs where teenagers or parents are coaching. It’s well trained hockey coaches that work well with young kids. Finally, in their Rising Stars program, the players are divided into teams based on skills level and the kids get actual NHL team jerseys. My son was lightning and jets.
I originally had a bad expirence with this facility (not getting a flood beforehand, ending sessions 5 -10 minutes early to clean up) but they made it right and went above and beyond by giving me a free make up class. Jake was a fantastic coach and was able to improve my snapshot substantially. Thanks again Jake!

The Oakville Hockey Academy is 5 Star + Everything Hockey under one roof and the Instrctors are AMAZING! Winner of the Oakville Beaver People's Choice Platinum award for "Best in Children's Sports Instruction" in 2016 and 2017.
We have done alot of clinics at OHA. The trainers are great with my boys and very knowlegable. My boys enjoys going to the clinics every week and can see a noticable improvement in their game. The Rising stars League has been very good for my younger son giving him alot more training from professionals compared to volenteer coaching thru other leagues making it a great foundation for my kids. We love the OHA.
I can only speak to Ice 2 Ice with respect to their skating lessons (not hockey), however, my daughter has been learning to skate here over the past few seasons and the experience has been excellent. Not only has she improved dramatically, here instructors have been first rate, the fees are very reasonable and it is so easy to sign up online. Plus, the organization is very proactive in reaching out to parents of students with respect to trying new things and new classes. Well worth exploring.
