Our Thanksgiving turkey was absolutely incredible! We got it from Dietrich’s and it was hands down the best we’ve ever had — juicy, flavorful, and perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone who wants top-notch meats and exceptional service!
Very disappointing!! We’ve been loyal customers for many years. Dietrich Butcher was the corner stone of our Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. We bought our Turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, squash and beans for every Turkey occasion. This year upon arrival we noticed the new stark renovations, we missed the character and joyous staff. We picked up our usual order and made our way home. Yesterday I set the table and began to put our sides into my bowls. The cranberry sauce was runny with barely two tablespoons of cranberries, the squash was runny and the mashed potatoe was tasteless. It was very disappointing.
I have had special orders of beef short ribs and WOW!! spectacular. Today we popped in to see the new renovations, very nice and open. You MUST try the Philadelphia Cheese Steak sandwich, which they have assembled. DELICIOUS. BEST place to purchase all that you need.
A friend told us about this hidden gem a few months ago. What a great surprise. Their selection of meats is perfect for the most discerning chef, steaks, kebabs of all types, seafood and an amazing Peameal Pork loin. You wont be disappointed!
I try to avoid eating animal based food; but, will prepare it for family & friends. Dietrichs is my go-to for meat to BBQ or roast. They have a great variety and are very helpful.
Aside from friends, this is the place I miss most since moving out of Oakville. Shopped here from the time it opened and will still go out of my way to visit and stock up when in the area.
