I recently ordered the boxed lunch menu from Plum Catering for a personal occasion , and I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I placed the order, the team was responsive, helpful, and eager to accommodate dietary preferences. On the day of delivery, every boxed lunch arrived neatly and punctually. The food quality was exceptional: fresh, flavorful, well portioned, and beautifully presented. The variety in their options showed real care — I appreciated how they balanced proteins, grains, vegetables, and treats in each box. A special shout-out must go to Kamna Mandal. She did a terrific job ensuring that every detail was perfect — from advising me on menu selection to double-checking delivery logistics. Her guidance and dedication made all the difference. I can confidently say that the boxed lunches from Plum Catering stand out in both taste and presentation. I would gladly order from them again, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for elegant, high-quality boxed meals.
We had Plum catering do my father-in-laws celebration of life and were very happy with their service. Food variety was good and Regina was fantastic. She was well organized, professional, friendly and highly attentive to us and all of our guests. She ensured that the food platters were always full, ran the bar expertly and took excellent care of all our company. We appreciated her so much as it allowed us to enjoy the event and be with our guests, knowing everything was being taken care of. Definitely recommend!
We hired Plum to cater a celebration of life for my grandfather. Kamna and her team were friendly, flexible, and helpful. The food arrived hot, on time, and they set up chafing equipment for us. The serving sizes were very generous and we're happy to have leftovers - for an event of 16 people we ordered 3 dishes at 8 servings each just to be safe since we had some big eaters in attendance, but I think we easily could have fed around 30. Everything was fresh and delicious, even the picky eaters were satisfied. Would absolutely hire Plum again. Their services made a difficult day so much easier.
Had the absolute pleasure of working with Kamna and team from Plum Catering for an event that served close to 100 people last month. Kamna has amazing customer service and answered any and all of my questions right away. She was patient, made the ordering process easy (signature lunch boxes came pre-labelled, adhered to ALL dietary restrictions including gluten free requests). Every person was so happy with the quality and quantity that was provided, so many people said they couldn’t even finish their sandwich because it was so filling! Plum Catering is highly rated and I can see why. They arrived earlier than expected which was perfect for us to be able to set up for our event. Can’t wait to work with you in the future. Thank you!
"Best Chicken Souvlaki ever! Their portions are so big, side salad is not just some spring mix and dressing. The greek salad with the Chicken Souvlaki meal is a meal in itself. Then there is greek Potatoes and Rice (we ordered both half and half. We had so much left over. Then you have to try they smore's squares. For vegetarian people they had veggie kabobs. Kamna was so considerate she asked whether my team was vegan or vegetarian, so she can make paneer or tofu option. It was not some one size fit all order. For office meetings, I have to not worry at all for ordering food anymore"
UPDATED based on response from Plum: just to be clear. Our business uses you so it won’t be under my name. I wouldn’t take the time to share our experience if it wasn’t true. Feedback is a gift and even though we tried to share our concerns with our last order before it was fulfilled - it obviously didn’t matter because the order was still lacking and the one dietary request we had was forgotten. The delivery person called right away to your office and we weren’t even offered an apology for the error. These are the facts and hopefully you take it and reflect on how to improve before this happens to other customers. We will not be using you again especially now that you can’t take the feedback and try to claim that we never used your business. Would you be saying the same thing if it was a positive review? (I would guess that the previous positive reviews were either left by those who never used Plum in the past or were left prior to new ownership) With that said, I would suggest learning how to respond to negative online reviews because what you’ve put here isn’t going to help. Update complete. Below is what happened. We’ve used Plum for a number of years and it used to be great. Since it’s been under new ownership, it is not the same. The service is lacking, the orders get messed up (especially for dietary restrictions), serving sizes have decreased (while they’ve raised their pricing), quality is less than before, and the presentation of the food is terrible. Even after explaining how an order was messed up, they didn’t even apologize which means they really don’t care. If you do decide to try them out in spite of what’s written here, do not pay them up front. Unfortunately, we did so they truly didn’t care. It was our last time ordering from them and we will spread the word - not that they care.
Amazing quality of food. I have used them to cater numerous corporate meetings, with no issues. The food is always amazing and on time. The staff is wonderful and Kamna is wonderful to deal with, she has amazing customer service. Their signature boxed lunches are perfect for luncheons as they are all individually wrapped and labeled.
