Oakville Garden Variety is an excellent place to shop when you need to make a quick purchase. Most impressive is that they have a good selection of groceries and quality frozen foods. There is plenty of parking, which is unusual for a free-standing variety store. The downside is that f people with accessibility issues, will find it difficult to enter the store given the steep step at the entrance and to navigate its interior given the narrow aisles. Nevertheless, the staff is not only very friendly, but also prepared to help out anyone with accessibility issues. The store can get busy at lunch time as it’s a favourite among students at the nearby high school. However, only two students are allowed to enter the store at a time and regular customers have priority, unhindered access. They are open until 9:00 pm on most nights and are licensed as a vendor by the LCBO. A great place to buy plants and they also have an ATM machine.
Would give 10 stars if I could, such a great cozy spot, I moved away over a year ago and still think about how nice the owners always were to a tired, broke college student, when I come back to visit this is one of my must-go stops, great selection and great service!
Hi store is awsome. The owners & workers are very hard workers. They are very kind & respectful. They do there best to help customers. Not long ago I spent $145 just on munchies. I rather give them the business than the grocery store. Thank u guys till next time.
the floers smeld so god. I am china and just move week ago. Cashier speak chineese so easy to check out. The works are nice. they help lots. It smell very tasty. Flower look very good. I took photo of dead floer.
This place is like my 2nd home, they always have everything I need in stock. Even during the covid 19 they were always fully stocked. Highly recommend!
This place is so gross! The workers do not take care of it at all! I saw a rat in the store and started screaming. I was trying to tell the workers there was a rat and kept saying "no no". Disgusting! I wish I could give this 0 stars. There are better convenience stores elsewhere!!
Your average corner store. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because the aisles are very narrow/cluttered and there's no way it's wheelchair accessible considering even I have trouble maneuvering through them. Also, getting into the store there is a step that offers no ramp, also not wheelchair accessible. It's 2020 and i believe these are things that should be a given for every business.
