My son loved his cooking class and immediately said he wants to go back. The classes are educational and fun while giving the kids a sense of independence. Thank you for the great class!
My kid really enjoys Little Kitchen Academy Oakville South. It’s a bit of a drive for us, but totally worth it! He loves that he can do everything by himself while still being with other kids. He’s already gained confidence in the kitchen and discovered some new tastes.
The absolute best!! The recipes are great and perfect for kids. All the staff are kind and welcoming and my 5 year old absolutely loves it here :) They are very accommodating and accepting and we are sooo grateful!! Would highly recommend trying it out
⭐HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My child absolutely loves her experience at Little Kitchen Academy there isn't any other cooking class like this where they literally get to use the equipment and make from scratch. Also, she is able to retain the information and recreate at home! All while learning tips, and etiquette. My child is always looking forward to the next class, and wondering if I have signed her up! My grandson Henry had such an amazing time during his visits to your location. He was extremely proud of the food he made, and even brought some home to share. Little Kitchen Academy is definitely more than just a fun cooking class. Henry has learned about organically grown ingredients, measuring, following instructions and the experience has helped make him more confident in his daily tasks Thank you to the wonderful staff, Henry will definitely be back.
Terrible experience for our 3.5 year old son. He’s been looking forward to this class for days. He’s normally pretty social and adapts quickly both in daycare and in other classes. However at Little Kitchen, the teachers have little patience and kept rushing him. It shows they have little understanding of children’s behaviour and how to deal with younger kids. Seriously doubt they are ECEs or have training. Our drop-off was fine and he was shy but he was very happy to join the class. I would say he adapted far better than the older kids that have been there multiple times. 10 minutes into the class, we got a call saying he was uncontrollably crying. That’s never happened before. Even when we’re trying to console him, the “teachers” kept coming by to rush him to either go back or leave. They don’t understand that sometimes kids need 10 minutes. Maybe it’s a better class for older kids or maybe we just got bad teachers today.
My daughter started coming to this location when it first opened. She was just over 3 years old and hadn’t been with strangers alone before but the teachers were wonderful in making her feel comfortable and she has become so in love with this program, we keep coming back. She’s still not eating as much vegetables as I was hoping this program would encourage but she has become so confident and independent that when she started montessori in sept, no tears or fears at the door! Every class is a new recipe and it ranges from pastas to baked goods. The program is not cheap but definitely worth it !
