Was in from out of town visiting family looking for something to keep myself busy. Luckily they had a helsmiths box so popped in. Spoke with the owners, were pretty on the ball with the gamestate. Will be back when im in town. Theyve got a youtube channel as well and plenty of hobby goodies to keep you busy. Given the location they are deceptively small.
Chris and Jay are both really cool dudes. Store paint Inventory is one of, if not the best, in the GTA. Also took a couple of their painting courses, and both were incredibly helpful, even for a novice painter like myself. Will be coming back for sure. Cheers and keep it up guys.
Came here to get an Airbrush cleaning kit as well as some supplies. Asked Chris one of the owners for some advice on how to paint layers on a space marine and he gave me a whole lesson and demonstration on the spot as well as the mini to take home as reference . Thats what you call spectacular customer service. Customer Service is second to none without a doubt. Also it was my first time here to add to the cherry on top. Ill definitely be back here again and the environment with all the patrons inside demonstrates the owners love the hobby and are passionate about it. Thank you Chris and Jay, guys like yourself are rare in this community!!
Really great hobby store! Extensive product and spare part support on Harder & Steenbeck airbrushes. Its quite a bit out of my way, but I like to pop over when I'm in the area because they carry a lot of product ranges that I hear good things about but havnt found anywhere else. Very well curated inventory
Jay and Chris are greatly knowledgeable about all things miniature games related and are always willing to pass on their experience in building, painting, and gaming miniatures. They're up to date with new releases in the many different games they carry and are willing to order in stock of product they might not have on their shelves. The gaming atmosphere is generally casual with tables and terrain for customers to use during the week. Tournaments are regularly hosted for various games throughout the year.
