Me and my wife enjoyed Ami for the first time yesterday. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our meals were very good, probably the best experience with Japanese food in Oakville. We will definitely be coming back.
I ordered from Ami Sushi via Uber Eats on Valentines Day. I don’t like writing bad reviews but I have to about this experience. The Miso Soup was amazing and the salad dressing was also amazing. The actual contents of the salad was mid grade but I’ll take it. My problem with this order was the fact that none of the fish tasted fresh! I couldn’t even taste the difference between fish because it all just tasted like it wasn’t fresh or sat to long. I would love to dine in and give them a second chance but I am very let down by my takeout/delivery experience.
The food was ok. Middle grade sushi in my opinion. Service was pretty good and the best part of dining. Decor was a little rough and in need of a refresh.
The sushi was soooo good! The spicy tuna rolls are a must and the miso soup was very delicious. I love the little boats that they come in! Adorable! I got a booth with my family and the atmosphere was quiet.
I’ve never had sat in the restaurant, only online ordering or pickup but I love the setup of the restaurant. Spicy salmon roll is amazing. Big portion. Literally everything you want in a spicy salmon roll!!
Decided to stop with the wife and turned into a romantic evening the setting the ambiance also food was the best sushi I ever tasted. Will be going there again
