I’m usually picky with my Shawarma and I really liked the food in this Boustan. I’ve been a regular client of the original Boustan in downtown Montreal. However one thing stood out to me in Oakville, they refused to give me pita bread because I had ordered the smaller plate. Also, they use some unnecessary vocabulary to describe the size of their plates. Perhaps it was just one employee in particular that expected me to get it. I won’t hold it against the place. The food was great tho. Wish they put more quantity of protein. I put 4 stars because I love the franchise, and would love to see them expand. But this one in particular deserves 3 stars in my opinion.
I’ve been going here regularly and I’ve never been more disappointed. I ordered a beef Saj combo to go. The Saj was completely stale throughout. Something charged at a premium shouldn’t feel like biting through cardboard. The place was relatively empty so I’d expect a bit more quality in the food. I love this place but that lunch was brutal.
I had a Saj mixed Shawarma and the potatoes. Both were delicious. The staff were extremely friendly. It’s top 5 in my books, when it comes to Shawarma's.
