I've been going to Gary's Auto for over 6 years now and have nothing but good things to say. I've taken different cars here for multiple problems and every repair is a one and done. Austin and Tod both are trustworthy, knowledgeable, and highly skilled mechanics. Their custom service has always been top notch, but what really won me over is when Austin found the true cause of a terrible sounding cold start on my BMW which was previously misdiagnosed as a bad starter motor. Turns out there was absolutely nothing wrong with the starter but another much cheaper component altogether. Saving me a lot of money from a unneeded replacement that would not have fixed the cold start noise at all. Very grateful. Would highly recommend to anyone needing auto service or a possible second opinion on a questionable repair. 10/5 stars!
I'm in love! I can't believe I have only just discovered Garys Automotive! Today my check engine light was on, and there was some concern about the drivability of the car, Auston had me come in, ran some diagnostics, topped up my oil and gave me a plan. He did this all last minute on a hot Friday just before they closed! Very grateful for such incredible customer service.
Simply the best! Even 5 stars doesn't seem adequate. My first ever Google Review was for Gary's Auto around 10 years ago and I feel it's time for an update. During that first interaction, Austin asked me what my goals were with my 2009 Honda Accord. I told him I wanted it to be running for when my then 6 year old daughter got her driver's license. Well, 10 years and close to 300,000 kms later, my now 16 year old is driving the Accord and it's running better than ever. It literally drives and rides like a brand new car and I know I owe it to Gary and Austin. Quite simply, they are the best. I'll admit that I am a very particular person; I like things done the right way, and these guys exceed my expectations every time. I actually enjoy going to the shop. It's meticulously clean, well run, and there's always some great back and forth banter. Who thought bringing a car to a mechanic could be this kind of experience? As I told Austin the other day, "I'm a customer for life".
