terrible beach. its full of algae, wood, sharp seashells and rocks. it hurt to stand up in the water because of sharp objects and logs. At a certain point, large mossy rocks begin piling up in the middle of the beach where people can climb on and stand, making the water shallow, but it is a huge slipping hazard. only fun thing was pathetic tire swing that was located in an area piled up with rocks that you could slip on and full of sharp objects. i also found glass there. children ended up leaving with around 3 splinters in each foot. thanks a lot Bronte Beach >:(
Luv our Bronte waterfront. The Adirondack chairs add such a feeling of a beach community. Makes me want to come down just to sit a relax in the chairs. Love living here.. well done Bronte
Beautiful, quiet, peaceful. It's a small beach but it gets a lot of afternoon sun and is somewhat sheltered from the wind. The sand isn't very fine but for a local beach it's great. No snack shack or ice cream, but the town of Bronte is close by and has several options for food and drink.
A pretty little nook of a bay with a sparkling distant glimpse of the wonderful downtown Toronto scape. CN tower standing tall and proud. sand on the beach is bare feet friendly. A bit of glass around the pathways but nothing too abnormal.
Small beach tucked in at the Bronte waterfront. Nice take out spot for kayaks/canoes/paddle boards.
