Stir fry beef was very nice, large pieces medium rare (to my Canadian eye it was not what I was expecting, it was more generous and seemed more like roasted beef, in a good way) Fish ceviche was great. Touch to find in Canada. Muchas gracias!
We visit Casa Mia every so often and we highly recommend it to try Peruvian cuisine. The food is simply delicious and the owner's warmth makes one feel at home.
Nice place with homestyle Peruvian food. It is run by a friendly couple. Their patio is nice. I prefer going in the late afternoon to avoid the direct sun. There is customer parking behind the restaurant. The lentil soup was quite large (almost a main in itself). I would not have the Huancaina Potaotes again, it's a very filling starter. The empanadas are great (order at least one per person as you would not want to share one). The lomo saltado (beef stir fry) is great and the asado de carne (roast beef) is so tender and juicy. Their online menu shows that they have steak but they actually don't.
I've tried a couple different Peruvian restaurants that I've enjoyed as well, but Casa Mia blew me away - each dish was amazing and full of flavour. Definitely recommend!
The food is very delicious, the service is also excellent, and the paella, what a spectacle, good seasoning, I recommend it, it is very good, the food, uffff, incredible.
We’ve been here a few times now and tried a couple other Peruvian restaurants as well, but we always come back to Casa Mia. The food tastes like it’s made with love, not to mention the portions are great! Definitely recommend and will definitely keep coming back.
Amazing food - great service. Got the beef stir fry and my partner got the ceviche, both were tasty. Only thing is that the food came a bit slowly, but suspect it was because everything was prepared fresh
