My experience at Merriam Music was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I began by emailing them, torn between two specific pianos. They wrote back right away to confirm both pianos were available in the showroom. Brent and Patrick were amazing in providing me with details on the pianos and coordinating with the showroom staff who knew exactly why I was visiting. At the showroom, I was helped by Mike. He was incredibly sweet and respectful. He showed me both pianos and then gave me the space and privacy to play them on my own, assuring me he was nearby if I had any questions. This was so appreciated, as I was worried about being hovered over, and it allowed me to connect with the instruments and know immediately which one was right for me. The purchase process was smooth and efficient, including some add-ons. The excellent service continued right through to delivery. The piano arrived promptly, and the delivery team was careful, professional, and kind. I cannot recommend Merriam Music highly enough. Everyone I interacted with was sweet, helpful, and deeply knowledgeable. A truly five-star experience!
I just bought my second piano from Merriam Music, a Kawai CA901 digital to complement my acoustic Hoffman T122 that I bought from them some 5 years back. The salesman, Brent, was very helpful and patient. He demonstrated several models to consider and explained the differences and characteristics of each one. I also was able to try out several models for myself under no pressure at all before I made my final decision. Great store with excellent after purchase service and support as well. They also have many reviews of pianos on their Youtube site, the most thorough reviews out there. Make sure to check Merriam Music out if you are in the market for an acoustic or digital piano ! You won't be sorry you did !

We visited the Oakville store to buy our first digital piano. We had spent a bit of time watching some of the videos on Merriam’s YouTube channel, so knew roughly what we were interested in. If you are researching piano, their YouTube is an excellent resource. However, before making our final decision we wanted to hear some of the options in person, and touch their keys. Robin at the store helped explain the differences between the pianos we were looking at. He also took the time to help us understand the benefits and drawbacks of some of models above and below what we were initially interested in—including some of the hybrid acoustic options. Purchasing was easy, the delivery team were excellent, and we are very happy with our piano—thanks Robin!
