The MOST caring staff. Every school in the Catholic school board has upheld extreme professionalism and God-centred care for my children, and St. Bernadette's is a shining example. We experienced a tragedy in Milton 6 months ago and relocated here to "start over". I never expected to find such compassionate interest in my children from a public school, but you will never know the greatness of someone until you are at their mercy. Every person in this school cares, and anyone that disrespects an institution that cares for them probably also disrespects their family, friends and employers without taking time to monitor what comes out of their mouths. Thank You Principal Riesberry, Vice Principal Starr, The Office Staff, Every single teacher of every grade, auxiliary staff, and the Catholic Diocese of Hamilton for bringing Catholicism into my children's lives beyond what my wife and I provide in the home.
The Teachers are nice sometimes, but sometimes They get mad for the smallest reasons.

This "Catholic" school is the worst school in the HCDSB. My older brother has been bullied for about 3 to 4 years and nothing was done about it. They spend more money then the U.S military then they cry about "OH WE DONT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY, THEN LETS TELL THE PARENTS, SO MAKE THEM WRITE A CHEQUE. Yeah it's pretty bad....Oi and the "playground" is like a prison Court yard. And last but not least I'm glad that im not at this school anymore. Like I personally don't feel safe around here cuz as I said before my brother has gotten bullied for like 3 to 4 years? Also I forgot to mention that there is a bench but it's over crowded during most of the recesses, and when winter comes it's all wet and cold so we got to improvise like sqaut like a gopnik or just walk around. The school used to be a good school before the new principle came. After that, it went downhill. Some staff are good, most are bad. I got in trouble multiple times here without reason. Also the $10,000 light was a waste of money. They should have spent the money on security cameras instead of complaining about people vandalizing the bathrooms. However, the people I met here were some of the best people I met in my life. To sum things up, A bad school with some really great people.
