I had picked up my takeout order for chicken fingers and a side Caesar salad. Unfortunately, it was, without a doubt, the worst take-out experience I've had in a very long time, if at all? The menu advertised "Large chicken fingers," but what I received were two slender, small strips. I initially wondered if someone at the restaurant might have sampled some because I couldn't believe this is all you get. I had hoped to enjoy this meal as my family was away for the evening. And was too tired from my day to make anything when I got home. The salad was also disappointing. Approximately 80% of the lettuce was yellow, with a distinctly old and bitter taste. However, I will commend the generous portion of chopped bacon. Is this level of quality typical for take-out orders these days from your establishment? It's not "where's the beef"?.. its "Where's the chicken"?
Our favorite place to hop in for a beer and shoot some pool or just enjoy time with friends. We've been going here for a few years now and enjoy it every time! Unless there is a private event, it's never too busy.
Disappointing. We order the wings for takeout every once in a while. They’re solid, I especially like the Original 6 flavour. I can’t recommend the chicken fingers though (see pic). They were burnt to a crisp and pretty much inedible … we had no other option so my boy had to douse them in plum sauce. Not sure how the kitchen packs those up for takeout.?
There was a problem with the food. It came extremely salty. I couldn’t eat it nor of the person sitting with me, but they still charged us for the full amount of food so we paid it and won’t be back.
The food was great the first time I went, but it got worse during the week when I went back on Thursday. The service was really bad though. I swear that the hostess, who was some blond woman named Helen or Heather or something like that, cared more about the bar than the customers. She went back to it like four times which was weird and unprofessional considering we just wanted our food. I thought I would be a regular after eating for the first time that Saturday, because the food was so good, but apparently that cook is the only saving grace because everything else about this establishment is forgettable and quite frankly, poor.
Great local place. It’s good people and good bar food that’s very affordable Welcoming location and they play NFL games on multiple TV’s, which is sometimes difficult to find in Oakville
I was here for the first time. I ordered the mozzarella sticks. They tasted ok, but probably came out of a box. I then had the chicken quesadilla. The main ingredient in a quesadilla is cheese, but there was only a hint of cheese in it. There wasn’t enough of it to hold together the chicken and vegetables inside the quesadilla. The quesadilla was too dry to enjoy. Stay away from it.
