This is my second time ordering from SoccerWorld, the first instance the kit was lost in transit, and I had to follow up to discern what happened. Second occasion, it took 6 weeks to receive one jersey, after initially calling and emailing there was a timely response, then as more time elapsed communication ceased. Unprofessional and unacceptable.
After some initial frustrations due to a missing item not delivered. Soccer World did an excellent job of reaching out, explaining the situation and working to remedy it in a satisfactory matter. Really gave the impression they care about their business and customers.
Sales rep was really professional, helpful and patient, even though I didn't buy anything. Great selection for boots and all the gear you could ever need at a fair price. Highly recommended
Great store for all soccer needs. Knowledgeable staff (can make recommendations for those who aren't so savvy) and great customer service. Their passion for the sport shines through everything they do. Oakville gem imo.
This store is staffed by friendly, knowledgeable people who all play soccer, themselves. My daughter bought a pair of Adidas pants there for $30. They were on sale, but even the regular price was $55, which is about $25 cheaper than the regular price anywhere else. There aren't many change rooms, but apart from that, the store is spacious, with a wide variety of stock. There is plenty of free parking. Help a small business by dropping by this store, instead of giving your money to a big chain.
Great service! Great shin gaurds and cleats! But kinda expensive. I recommend you go there if you need anything related to soccer for example: cleats, shin guards or maybe a soccer Jersey of a player you like!
Terrible Client Experience - Risks you take with some Small Business Owners. I will lead this experience with - go to Sportchek, don't shop here. I visited this store early March to buy soccer shoes for my teen son. I explained at the time the shoes were a secondary pair for my son and that we may bring the shoes back. The staff were great at this visit, they let my son put on the shoes and try them out on the turf in the store and he walked a bit with them on in the store. We bought the shoes. I wasn't concerned about returns as 14-30 day return policy is pretty standard. They did not tell me the policy nor was it written on the receipt. Fast forward 2.5 weeks. I don't live in the area and asked if we could return or exchange the $300.00 shoes. The lady at the store said we were past the return period.. which I said was not entirely clear to me as a consumer but I was fine if we could just exchange. She said we could exchange if they were not used. She turned over the shoes and said too bad - cause we used them. I know for a FACT they were not used - they sat idle in our house between the time we left the store/arrived home and the time we came back. My son used his current shoes for the soccer event & stood fine. Plus he knew he wanted a different style for the 2nd pair. I disputed her "professional assessment" that the shoes were used. I told her maybe because he walked around in the store and kicked a ball on THEIR grass/turf - that the shoes showed a mark on the cleat... - I pressed her on her assessment and said she was being offensive in her implications. She then leaned towards my son and well - "I just HATE when people LIE to my face". !!! - I wrote it down because I was in shock. What professional person says this to a customer and to a kid ! She saw I was visibly upset at her blatant accusation to my 17yr old son in front of me - and then she tried to recover by begrudgingly going to her "manager" and asking if we could exchange. By this time the damage was done. My son was so upset at the insulting and aggressive behavior by this sale lady that he left embarrassed and upset; we did not even bother with an exchange. The shoes won't be used and we will instead via other channels challenge the store on their exchange policy and how they treat their customers - including minors. Finally - I did reach out to the manager - her name is Alison and left 2 messages so she could understand the experience. I was informed by her employee Apr 10 (when I last followed up) that she doesn't have time to return all the calls she gets and if she isn't interested then she won't return your call. Go to Sportchek - they take accountability for their client experience and are transparent about their return policy.
