When they were Oakville Academy they were great, then without even notifying us they switched to Making Waves and the disaster started! They refurbished and the place became dangerous floor always slippery, water everywhere, no privacy or family room for showers, there is only few changing rooms. Employees are lovely but lack experience. Customer service is terrible, i had to loose lots of makeup classes because they do not take notes properly. I am stopping with them, lost lots of money with them!
The improvement in our son's ability to move about in the pool is so obvious. With such dedicated instructors he has been able to go from strength to strength.
We did the parent and tot classes and though we liked our instructor both my husband and I were very uncomfortable with all the young female swim instructors wearing extremely revealing bottoms. They all wore long tee shirts with their bum cheeks exposed. When you are down in the pool and they are walking around it’s very uncomfortable to look up and felt very unprofessional. Sadly we won’t be back
We held our daughter’s birthday party at OSA, and the overall experience was awesome! Tavia (the manager) was very patient and kind when we approached her regarding the booking. In the meanwhile, when the party date had to be rescheduled (due to unforeseen reason), OSA was flexible with the change and was very supportive in many ways. On the day of the celebration, there were staffs on site to assist us with all the set ups and every one them was super friendly and helpful. They even handed out party favours to our guests which was quite a sweet surprise. Overall it was a fantastic experience with flexible schedule and full support. Their service was beyond my imagination. All our guests had a great time! I would recommend it to all my friends who wanna host parties. ??
My daughters have been swimming at the academy for a few years now and they’re enjoying it so much. The teachers are great and admins and deck supervisors have shown such professionalism and great communication. Such a welcoming environment!
The Swim Academy treats you like family. They care not only about their service but about you. Their small class allow the instructors to take the time to get to know your child and work with them as an individual within the group setting so that they are receiving what they need from the program.
