I had an excellent experience with Madison S!! I hadn’t been waxed in a couple months but she made the experience incredibly comfortable and as painless as possible! I will definitely be back in the future!
Come here for my brow threading all the time and always leave happy! Madison is particularly amazing, super friendly and very accommodating!! Definitely recommend to everyone looking for a new brow place.
I don’t usually leave reviews unless I have good things to say, but I truly can’t give this place more than two stars for what it has become. I Got a membership here back in 2021 because my first couple experiences were good, but then I started to notice that none of the ladies working there actually stay there and thought that was a little strange… I did not love the fact that I started to get different ladies for my Brazilian waxes, and during my last experience the woman severely burnt me and didn’t remove all my hair? I had mentioned several times that the wax was really hot and tried to ask her questions to see if maybe she was new? She replied with “it’s really busy today so we don’t have time to wait for it to cool down” and had mentioned that she only works there on weekends and that it’s not her main career, and I suddenly realized that she probably does not care about the fact that she’s burning such a sensitive area of my body nor if she does a sloppy job. My skin looked and felt awful for several days after this wax. I decided to call and let the manger know and just close my account permanently because I didn’t feel comfortable coming back here, and I thought this was done until I got an email this morning confirming my payment… I asked to speak to the same manager but I was told that she longer works there (shocker) and that they won’t have a manager in until Tuesday. Shouldn’t there always be a manager on duty? Weird.
I have been going here for years now and have had great experiences, particularly with the esthetician I always book with (Kiran-she’s wonderful). Unfortunately, in this past year I have been rescheduled multiple times (5, 10, 15, 20 minutes) past what I had originally booked for (with many emails to prove it). Coming later wouldn’t be a problem with me, had I been informed…but all that I have been getting are reminder texts saying to see me tomorrow for the rescheduled time I had 0 approval of. I’m particular about my appointment times because I am always booking them around the things I need to do/get done for the day. A simple phone call the day before would have been helpful so that I have time to reorganize my day…even though I don’t owe them the accommodation. Today, I had received a text saying that I will be seen tomorrow at 12:40pm when I had chosen to come in at 12:00pm. Again, I can show the emails proving that 12:00pm is what I booked. I called in to speak to someone, she was kind and tried to solve the problem for me. She had said that what she can see on her end was that I did not have 12:00pm book, I had 12:20pm booked (not true). She proceeds to tell me that I was pushed to 12:40pm and there was a “note” saying that someone needed to call me to tell me. I get it, things and mistakes happen, but it’s not fair that I had to go through these experiences multiple times with nobody telling me. It’s hard to change my plans last minute to come for the time that they rescheduled me for without me knowing. Today’s incident happened one too many times so I just canceled my appointment and emailed to have my membership canceled as well. To make matters worse, I was told that someone is going to call me back right away. No one called back. This was at 3:00pm. Super disheartened.
Love this location. Always so easy to book appointments and I have nothing but good things to say about the receptionists! They always make the check out prices a breeze and always answer any of my questions. I book with different people all the time and so far so good! Consistent work.
I normally go to Donato salon to get waxed but they were renovating and I needed a wax done for my trip. Gave fuzzbar a try and had a horrible experience. The front desk chics seemed snobby and unattentive and the wax chic was okay I guess of course missed spots and was harsh n aggressive. Never again and I get the feeling they don't care for my business either. I will be going back to Donato for future waxing. Regret trying the Oakville fuzzbar.
Been seeing Kiran for a little over 2 years. Men’s full back and chest with eyebrows. Let me say that it’s really hard trusting someone to do chest and back waxing as it is very painful. Kiran was a game changer and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to handle these services. Service is great.
