I have been here a few times. Each time the venue is setup as requested and the layout is good. There are doors available to open to a outdoor patio.
Really good convention centre, well maintained, hygienic, good staff, great for parties…its lovely to organize any party over there…good lighting… Appreciate their cleanliness, plenty of parking, gentle staff!!
We’ve worked with the Oakville Conference Centre for several years now, and they are consistently outstanding. The entire team goes above and beyond every single time. It is incredibly organized and makes planning seamless, they provides exceptional leadership and support on event day. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly set them apart. Our team always feels welcomed, supported, and well cared for. Highly recommend the OCC — we’re already looking forward to our 2026 event!
Had my wedding here and they played nice until it came down to the wedding day. I ordered an ENORMOUS sweet table double what was needed, and at the end of the night I asked for a to go container to pack myself a slice of cake and they laughed and said they didn't have anymore. I then proceeded to see every single staff member pack up the desserts I saved and paid for, taking them all home . This was 4 tables worth of desserts. They also said I can leave my extra favours there to pick up after which when I called they said they didn't have anymore. So I'm assuming the staff packed those up too for themselves. Extremely disappointing. Find another place and make sure they treat you well.
Spacious, divided into different sections like Main Hall, Food serving area and small spaces as lobby at entry doors and enough parking space. Easy to reach cz on QEW, but add time to your journey cz lots of traffic at highway this summer due to construction.
Big banquet space ideal for work party or event. Service for dinner was kind of slow and they got my co-worker’s special dinner order wrong, since she has food allergies:/
Overall I really enjoyed the venue having attended a fundraiser there. Their food was incredible, and really had the pallet dancing. The pasta was fantastic and left me wanting more. Meat was cooked perfectly, seasoned appropriately. 4 star rating is due to the venue ambience. It’s a bit dated, but that can be fixed with your own decor. This place should be in your list if you’re thinking of having a party in Oakville.
