This was my second visit to this store today. I have been living in Oakville for the past seven years, and unfortunately, this Laura location has been consistently disappointing. The staff’s behavior was unacceptable. The lady at the cash, wearing a scarf, was extremely rude she did not greet us, showed no willingness to assist, and displayed no courtesy in her interaction. Yet, moments later, she warmly greeted and interacted with two white customers in a noticeably polite and welcoming manner. I have experienced similar situations at this store in the past, but today’s incident facing such treatment as a brown customer from another person of color was particularly disheartening. I sincerely hope Laura takes steps to educate their staff on respect, professionalism, and equal treatment for all customers.
Very positive experience recently specifically with Helen. She went out of her way, above and beyond, to secure a dress in a different size for a very special wedding in September. She had to call another location and at first, was actually turned down and was told that the dress couldn't be transferred to a different store location. Helen went above her head and ultimately had the transfer approved. As a result, I now have a perfectly fitting and perfect occasion dress hanging in my closet!! Thank you, Helen. Your efforts are very much appreciated!
Wonderful shopping experience! Jurate is an excellent fashion consultant and she seems to knows what will fit and styles that will work. She knows the inventory and makes sure that you have options to choose from. Everyone in the store was so friendly and helpful and made the shopping experience fun and rewarding. I was pleasantly surprised at how many beautiful pieces were available to choose from. Thanks for a great afternoon of shopping.
I had a wonderful experience at the store thanks to one of your top sales associates, Her name is (Menna) working at the branch of Oakville place shopping mall centre, She was incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely knowledgeable. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and offered great advice without ever being pushy. Her friendly attitude and professionalism made my shopping experience so enjoyable. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated and customer-focused — she’s truly an asset to the store! I’ll absolutely be coming back because of her! And there is another lady was helping her called ( Farida)
I have shopped at many different Laura and Melanie Lyne stores over the years and this one store was very disappointing compared to the customer service and assistance I have had at the other stores. The store itself was bright and well laid out but I was disappointed when leaving the store.
Jurate was incredible to work with! She presented so many options, catered to what I was looking for, helped style me taking into consideration my body type and how I was feeling. She managed to restore my self confidence and made me feel good in clothes again!
