It was clean, organized and had great prices. I found a variety of chocolates that other stores do not carry. I loved the wide selection of chocolates, meats and many other items. Can’t wait to go back and get new chocolates this week!
Bought a couple of Scottish meat pies from british grocer at Sobeys and they were delicious! Reminded me of the meat pies I used to have at the highland games when I was a kid. The pastry was perfect light and flaky with just the right amount of crisp. It was filled with some tasty meat inside. Honestly I inhaled the whole pie in like 5 minutes. Very happy with my purchase and will definitely be buying from here again! Yum!!
Wonderful assortment of things from the UK. I especially enjoy the Irish products, and the sales (I love for the Curly Wurly case clearances). We make a stop in anytime we head to the GTA. (Both locations, actually). Friendly staff as well.
The amount of selections for snacks and stuff is great, and the staff are amazing, I always love going here just to get small stuff to try. Honestly a pretty cool place to visit if you're in downtown Oakville
Great selection at both their stores. The butcher and baked goods are awesome and the imported brands from the British Isles bring back many happy childhood memories (and taste great too of course). Staff are always friendly and helpful.
Dropped in to shop this morning but no one at the front. I could see someone in the back , so I called out three times. Left the store exasperated as no one appeared. They lost a sale. I was there just before 11.
I recently moved to Oakville and decided to stop into this little shop because it looked very welcoming! I was greeted by a lovely lady named Janet and the owner Sean who helped me pick out a few items. I landed on the sausage rolls and one of their baked goods, an empire biscuit. Both were amazing! I cannot wait to go back and try some of the meat pies that they make!
