Loved the old store that was further south in the same mall. The new store is much smaller and very cramped. It seems like they forgot about customers and shopping carts. Same good selection of products but not as well displayed as before and other locations. Staff are still great but I think we’ll be shopping at a different location in the future.
Even when they’re busy, such helpful staff. Checked stock and called me back. Then kind enough to put items aside for next day pick up. Good quality items, often very good price and many times unique things:) Love this store
I purchased an apple peeler/corer. It took longer than I would have taken to peel, core and cut the apples by hand and literally dug into the apple take a lot of flesh off along with the skin. I returned it today with the receipt. I did not know that you cannot return used items, but the item wasn’t to my liking and useless. The manager huffed and said she would make an exception this time, but I “can’t simply return something just because I don’t like it”. All I said was “oh really? Good to know”. Next time I will make sure to just purchase from Amazon.
Great store for unique items at affordable prices. Staff in Oakville are friendly and very helpful. The Store Manager, Jacqueline and Store Associate, Julie went out of their way to assist me recently. Thank you again Ladies and keep smiling :)
I arrived at this branch at 6:58 PM, two minutes before closing, with an item already on hold. Despite being on time, the staff refused to process my transaction, claiming their systems were already shut down. If the store is advertised as open until 7:00 PM, customers should not be turned away before then. The staff was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. This is misleading, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I strongly discourage anyone from visiting this location.
Beware of the $10 card scam. They don't accept it unless you spend $50 in one purchase. If you spend almost $100 in two days in a row, it's not enough. You have to return all your items and buy them again to keep their employees busy. ? I had a wrong impression that it was a "thank you" gesture to their loyal customers, but they treat that pittance very seriously and do not remind you to use the card when you spend $50+. The cashier even didn't return my card after refusing to apply a discount. Besides a lot of items are not on the shelf when the website states they are in stock in the store. I hope your 10 dollars are worth of getting this review and losing a loyal customer.
I came to this store to find a birthday gift for my mom and was so grateful for the staff! Julie helped me find the perfect gift and was so patient with me the entire time. Thanks to her, I'm sure my mom will love her present
