Food was fantastic, I had the beef pho and it was great. Definitely going to my goto food spot at Oakville Place going forward, especially for a food court spot it’s so much better quality than the other food you can get in the food court here. My partner had the bento box and that was great too and good portion for the price.
In the food court of Oakville Place. A very tasty bowl of Vietnamese Pho. I had the rare beef with beef balls. It came nice and hot with all of the usual ingredients; rice noodles, Thai basil, bean sprouts and onions. Served with a small lime wedge, sriracha sauce and Hoisin sauce. The beef balls were quite tough but the thinly sliced beef brisket was tender and delicious. Portion was adequate and the soup was very good for a shopping mall location.
For a place called the "Art" of Pho, very little artistry was found. Their broth is lacking in any kind of complexity of subtle flavors, the meat that they serve with the broth is skimpy with only a couple of slices of rare beef two meatballs and the piece of "flank" looked like deli meat. There were few noddles and the and almost no bean sprouts and no basil to be seen. If you've never had pho before and are worried about different ingredients and want to try pho, this might be the place to start. Just know that you're Pho experiences can pretty much only go up from there.
First time trying this place and it’s spot on. Pho was hearty and the mango salad and spring rolls were delicious and made hot. Will definitely come back again!
Recently visited The Art of Pho in Oakville Place and it’s a total hidden gem! The pho was rich and fresh, the fried rice was full of authentic flavour, and the fresh rolls were a hit. Loved the coconut juice and Vietnamese coffee too — everything was made to perfection. Highly recommend!
Not often that I bother to review a place at a food court, but this is definitely worth a mention. The lemongrass bento box was fantastic, lots of food and lots of variety, delicious, hot, fast, and very reasonably priced. Even the service was great. Highly recommended.
Was looking forward to trying it and I was let down twice, first sandwich had a bone in it, changed it and the second one was cold. If you can't get a sandwich right you won't last long.
