I have been getting my hair done at Roots forever and Ash and Meenu are the best. Our whole family gets their hair done and they are amazing. Would highly recommend!
I moved to Oakville recently and someone recommended this place. This was my third time going to them, got smoothening treatment done in last visit. Booked an appointment and received a confirmation of the booking. Reached there on time and waited for 15 mins after which I was told that they double booked. I was told to come back later even though other person had not reached yet. Reason given was because she knew her. Worst customer service. Would never go to them again.
Utterly disappointed. If you want a quality salon experience go to Char le Blanc instead. I get that it's not the cutest place but I thought it wouldn't matter of course if I leave satisfied. They were curt and uninviting. Patronizing when explaining what I wanted to be done with my hair. While mixing the dye I could overhear them saying they couldn't find enough of the colour I wanted so they mixed things that were close enough. I've had my hair washed at a salon multiple times and never has it been this haphazard, it's usually a calming experience but she was careless and the dye ran down into my eye; all around just rough handled. The haircut was also not what I asked for and also handled carelessly as she would section my wet hair she’d let it down and every time it would slap my face. At this point, I was already thinking that I’m never going back again and what’s done is done, what really got me though is what happened when I went to pay. When booking my appointment I called on the phone and was quoted approx $80, I knew it would be more so I estimated around 150 and was alright with that. Explain to me why she charged me $250 and gave me the machine that asked for a tip for the wonderful service. I asked how this happened and it made no sense to me, I feel like I was taken advantage of because I look young. Of course, I paid and tipped but I just don't want anyone else to feel this way after getting their hair done all excited, when all I really wanted was to feel confident and content.
I had a 2 day affair and they were able to do my hair and makeup both days even though it was a Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday the regular makeup artist was not working but Ash, the owner, had her daughter come in and she did a fantastic job with my makeup. Thank you to everyone who made my 2 days so special. I highly recommend this beauty salon that will meet many of your needs.
I love going to this salon for their incredible services!! I went in for a balayage a year after getting it done at the same place, and was met with the same professional work! The stylists at this salon are all so sweet and are so good at what they do!! Ash did my hair this time, and I absolutely loveee her work!! she gave me the exact colour I showed her thru my inspo pic, and was so patient and precise with her work. They truly care about their customers, as they were so kind to insist and offer to get me some coffee when they were going on a coffee run for the staff. I can't recommend this salon any more than I already do! Mina is also such a wonderful stylist, as I saw the results of her clients that day and it was beautiful too. Although I have so many salons in my local town, I will continue to drive out to oakville just for this salon! highly recommend?
Third time back for colour/cut and threading with Minacshi and I'm beyond happy! Minacshi has always been incredible at figuring out what I'm after and is creatively so talented! Her suggestions have always turned out awesome when I've been less than exact about what I want. Not to mention she's the stylist who fixed my colour issues after I'd made a poor choice. I'm grateful to her for her patience and skill and will highly recommend her and this gem of a salon!
I went there with a beautiful highlighted hair and asked to be a blonde! They damaged my hair. I got a rainbow in my hair and all different colours you can imagine. Not satisfied client
