The customer service is below sub par and would actually consider it a disappointment. The woman who mandates the front has a cold and disrespectful attitude. A bit of warmness and hospitality would go a long way. She refuses to let patrons use the rest room unless you are dining in. I payed for $50+ of product and was refused the washroom. In addition the pastries I purchased were stale. I had no choice but to throw it out in the trash. I would have normally gone in and discussed the staleness and perhaps have swapped it out or gotten a refund but the woman working the front is so abrasive that I just did not want her misery to spill into my day. There are other French bakeries in the downtown Oakville area with hospitable service and fresh food.
Came for lunch today and the food was so good! The French onion soup was delicious and so was the Croque Monsieur. Their coffee, even just black, was very fresh and wasn’t bitter at all.
Loved the savoury crêpes and the salads. And this restaurant doesn’t even take tips. However this review loses a star because the portions were rather small and quite expensive. Still a good spot for authentic French cuisine.
An alright place if you have minimal options. This community crepe place is small, but comforting. They have a good selection of crepes from sweet to savoury. Me and my friend bought the salmon with microgreens crepe, as well as the strawberry nutella crepe. Albeit pricey, the crepes were still good and filling, however basic. The french onion soup lacked good flavour and wasn’t exactly aromatic as it usually would be at other restaurants. The service was good, nothing to note. Additionally, we sat outside and they brought food over to us. Overall, not bad, but not enough to visit again.
The food was excellent! They have gluten free options. The service was top notch, attentive and patient. The atmosphere was delightful. French Lunch is a quiet and enjoyable experience. We’ll be back soon!
Stopped by while staying at the Holiday Inn near by. Glad I did because Ive never had classic crepes before. Had the salmon and cream cheese crepe which too good. It was the perfect balance between sweet and savoury. I also recommend getting a dessert crepe to put your own toppings. Dont forget to grab a couple frozen french dishes or frozen crepes all made in house.
Love the classic French crepes!!! My favourite is a little sugar with some fresh lemon on top - amazing !! Just like France! easy to freeze or refrigerate and then re-heat for a brunch - and impress your guests with your gourmet style ;-)
