The staff were very friendly and cheerful. They provided us with all the information we needed. We had a very nice, clean, spacious room on PH level. The hotel was in a quiet location and it was close to the GO STATION. The only downside was the hotel restaurant was closed at the time of our stay but there is a Tim Hortons next door for those that need their coffee and donut. Overall I would recommend others to stay at this hotel.
The front desk is super helpful and friendly! However the accommodations are quite dated. They have done their best with decor and a decent tv.
Pool was shut down for maintenance the first night and reopened next day to be disgusting and filled with dead bugs. However, they did upgrade our room after the initial one we got had smelly water flooding the floor when we arrived. The penthouse suites are nice and the cleaning and front desk staff were pleasant. The restaurant however, had lied to us one night saying they had none of the ingredients for things on the menu and that they were super 'busy'. We saw an empty area. Next morning, different restaurant staff told us they had all these ingredients and made an amazing omelet for my mother in law. However, the pancakes were bitter and the bacon was cooked oddly.
They went above and beyond, they brought my daughter a nice little gift for her Birthday. Most hotels don't even care! Wonderful rooms and great service!
We enjoyed our stay here. The suite was large and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Gym was well equipped, and we enjoyed the pool and sauna. We also enjoyed the patio out back. There is a convenient Tim Horton's and a gas station right there, which is also helpful. I recommend skipping the restaurant though, which was VERY slow and disappointing. Do yourself a favor and drive the 5 mins down the road to the waterfront for great views and restaurants. We will absolutely stay here if we come back with our teens.
