Oakville Music Academy is truly an amazing place! From the front desk staff to the teachers, everyone is wonderful and so supportive. Both of my kids (ages 5 and 10) learn piano here, and it has been such a positive experience. My 5-year-old only started a few weeks ago, but she looks forward to her lesson every single week. She works with Maddy, who is incredibly kind and patient. She’s also a beautiful singer—I think I heard the sweetest rendition of Twinkle Twinkle from her! My little one absolutely adores Maddy and loves every lesson. My 10-year-old used to struggle with notes and rhythm, but ever since she started working with Graham at OMA, the progress has been remarkable. She not only passed her RCM Level 2 exam with flying colors but is now confidently working on the next level. Graham is such a passionate teacher—you can tell how much he truly cares about his students every time he gives feedback. The front desk is run by Apollo, who is an absolute master of scheduling! She’s always cheerful, welcoming, and incredibly helpful with make-ups or changes. In the beginning, she took the time to match my kids with teachers who fit their personalities, and she always remembers details and requests—even months later. The recitals are also fantastic. They’ve given my kids the chance to perform in public, build confidence, and most importantly, deepen their love for music. If you’re looking for a place to learn piano, I can’t recommend Oakville Music Academy enough. Graham and Maddy are amazing teachers, and the whole team makes learning music such a joyful experience.

We registered our children 11 and 7 years old at the Academy of Music here in Oakville looking for piano lessons. David was the assigned instructor and he is doing a fantastic job. My 11 year old son loves the lessons, creates his own songs and has had his first recital already. We are very glad that Devid has been able to inspire our son to love piano so much. He can't stop playing it. My 7 year old daughter is no different. She enjoys her classes a lot. We were fearful that the discipline or practices that piano demands may scare her away, but again David makes her have fun while learning. She's had her first recital as well and look forward to learn more. Very satistified. Highly recommendable place to lean piano.
My 16 year old daughter took guitar lessons at Academy of Music in Oakville last year. She loved it. Her instructor was a great teacher and she was able to pick songs that she wanted to learn to play, like her favorite artist Taylor Swift or Coldplay. This made the lesson fun for her. The best thing that happened was this summer she played her guitar at the camp fire at the cottage and had a great time doing it. She is a shy girl so this was huge. It really helped her self confidence. She is very happy she took guitar lessons there. Thanks again
It's with sadness that we say good bye. My children Raistlin and Shydin Tengg have been with the academy for the past 5 years, they have both excelled in piano and have loved being apart of the rock band and recitals. Music academy's amazing teachers have done so much for their self esteem !! Many thanks to James and his incredible and talented teem you all will be missed. P.S Thanks James I was able to get into Allegro music and it's very close to where we now live "Your the best" !
