Smaller store but always clean and friendly staff. Wish they had more selection and maybe alittle more competitive but overall a good place

Unfortunately my car was towed by Phils towing last night. I went inside Sobeys and talked to the young gentlemen at the desk. He explained to me that the owner of the property was towing the cars and gave me the number to call to get my car back. I should have read the signs I guess, but I was glad that young man was willing to help me even though it was not Sobeys responsible for the towing.
I buy food here regularly. Bought several packs of ribs here when they were marked down. One pack were rotten six days before the Best Buy date. So I returned them. Simon from the meat department insisted they were fine to eat and stated ribs are fine to eat until they turn green! He also said would eat them smelling rotten. He was unprofessional. And seemed to not want to give the return. Another man came to look at the meat and just stood there. Then a third man came and said he could smell the ribs from where he was standing behind the counter. So it was definitely a potent, awful smell. Not appetizing. They gave the return. (Didnt even give me the correct price back!) so unimpressed with this location now! Not professional enough for me. It is a downer for me because everyone else Ive come into contact here have been quite opposite Simon. Simon, For future reference if the meat is turned, just apologize and give customers their correct money back. Its really a simple job.
I have stopped shopping here after I was towed for $370. I suggest other clients do the same.
