The review is mainly for the store manager, who said he will be shipping a new shirt to home and ends up sending the same dirty shirt I said no to in store! So disrespectful! Did you really think I won’t find out?!
Good customer service, but do check your bill before heading out. They scanned one item twice and my wife didn’t noticed until she had to exchange something. The staff said they need proof that they charged twice.. how can you provide a proof, when you don’t have something.. lamo
Have only been a few times, once when child started high school (2024) and needed all new items, which were shipped fast but then had to go in-store to exchange some sizes, staff then were very helpful & kind. Went yesterday to pick up one new item and witnessed Aiden (store supervisor) be very patient while explaining to one mother that they cannot take items back once they have already been altered. Then today when I went to exchange the item, I’d picked up, for a different size I witnessed another customer - being a complete “Karen” - she was expecting discount price on brand new/tags on/wrapped in plastic items because she found them on the discount rack. Obviously they were on there in error and other staff MIGHT have been mistaken by telling her, that they were discount items. I suspect other shoppers could have easily just dropped the items on that discount rack and staff hadn’t realised that. However Aiden was there again, to apologise and patiently and kindly explain that they were in fact, regularly priced. She was being quite rude, condescending & completely unreasonable. Kudos to the staff for their calmness & professionalism!
I had the pleasure of being helped by Caroline today at the McCarthy Uniforms store, and she made what could have been a stressful first-time experience into an absolute breeze. We were there to get my daughter’s first high school uniform, and Caroline went above and beyond from the moment we walked in. She was not only incredibly helpful, but also warm, personable, and genuinely engaged. Caroline seemed to know exactly what size would work for my daughter just by looking at her — and she was spot on every time. Her knowledge, efficiency, and friendly demeanor turned what could have been a long process into a quick and enjoyable visit. Caroline is truly an asset to McCarthy Uniforms and should be recognized for the way she represents the company. Highly overpriced poor quality clothing; you wash them too many times and they shrink & fade. McCarthy is taking advantage of parents not having another option to buy uniforms. One would think that changing locations from a plaza area to the middle of nowhere would reduce prices, but not a chance! At least if the clothes were made in Canada and be of good quality to justify the price, I would not think that McCarthy is profiting off of parents shamelessly. The new Oakville location is horrible, parking is limited, you wait in line forever and when you finally go in, they are out of stock for so many items…. if I could give no stars, I would..
The long line outside moved quite fast this year.. All the guys inside were very nice and helpful.The quality of the clothes are mediocre. Skirts are too short, far above the knee and don't made in a right way . Teenage girls are not the same size around waist and around hips!!! I pointed the problem last year, had long online interaction with customer service. Didn't help. PLEASE DO SOMETHING!
Charlotte was an absolute delight to have as our sales associate! She was knowledgeable in products, efficient with sizing and gave on point amazing service with smile and patience! She deserves a raise! As I was observing the store, all staff were friendly, great in number for available customer service and very personable! Store was very clean! Absolutely amazing service!
