**Updated: The response from the owner is laughable. Based on their other responses, they clearly are very hostile towards customer feedback. Yes, you are allowed to have a ludicrous rule in place, it doesn't make it any more legitimate. How on earth can you justify a pretentious rule that bars families from making big financial decisions? As I mentioned in my review, here's to hoping your stay in the Burloak Plaza is extremely short-lived and another, better run, more customer-centric organization takes over and thrives. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST. Pretentious beyond measure. The plaza has other high-quality furniture stores in it (Urban Barn, Structube). Similarly priced, but way more friendly and customer centric. I was shopping for a sectional for our new home, my wife was sick so I was hoping to send her photos so we could decide together. When you’re spending 3-4k on a piece of furniture, it’s important to get the input of both people. You can't just decide on a whim. The sales lady informed me I could not send my wife photos. Apparently, I may try and get knock off versions of her furniture made. Well I have never ever been told by a furniture store that I couldn’t take photos. It doesn’t make you exclusive, or bougie…it makes you pretentious and gross. Congratulations on losing my business, I will gladly spend that money at any other furniture store in the plaza who respects the decision making process families make when spending their hard earned money. 1 star because I can’t give 0. Hopefully this place doesn’t last very long in the plaza.
This store has numerous style of furniture according to your needs. Have seen them go above and beyond to meet your expectations. Do visit and you won't be disappointed!
They have the option to buy Canadian furniture which is good but a lot of places offer that. I was interested in the couch from Brentwood but they forced me to buy from a local manufacturer who is also Italian. But the finish and they quality of the sofa was terrible. After a year after using it the fabric is pilling even though I was told it is high performance fabric and 50,000+ abrasion and what not. There frame has started to squeak and after multiple calls to them and assured that manufacturer will come to house no one called or came to check. Pretty misleading service and no customer service after sales have been done.
