This picture is what we've received for the very last time, and it's gone on for years. Years. Food and food quality are 4/10 at best. High prices, for this? Attention Black Swan... It's totally unacceptable to send out plates with disgusting pieces of chips that've been in the deep fryer for hours. Someone doesn't care to do their job at a even a minimal level. This is just one area of needed attention. For what we pay, and what we get, there's FAR BETTER FOOD VALUE ELSEWHERE. Ask any former customer, there are plenty of us and we all talk to each other, and again, your food is 4/10 at best. On to better dining experiences, elsewhere.
Great fun! Well needed chill vibe in Bronte! Food very good and just what you want when you arrive here.... Good wine list which is a huge relief because most pub style places cannot get it right! Service amazing.....it's my new go to fun chill comfort local!
Very friendly staff and even the customers at the bar greeted me. They recommended the wings but I had ordered over the phone already. The carrot cake was very small but delicious.
Where to begin... Hit and miss with service if you get a particularly forgetful waitress who spends more time talking to customers than remembering to enter your order. This was the last time last week. Food quality can vary drastically. We've had raw fish/running fish batter on two recent occasions, so no more fish, period. French fries are little pencil stub nubs, likely some of the worst we've seen for years in Oakville, nowhere near a standard fry. Head back to Costco. Portions could be better, don't serve vegetables that have been in the steamer for hours. They're inedible. Goodbye. EDIT: To Owner Frank's reply. No need to email you; we've listed the many areas of concern in our review. Your food isn't worth anyone's time, particularly at the high prices for the small portions, with pencil stub fries... We’ve visited countless times over the past year, mainly because it’s so close to home. Most of the time, they truly deserve five stars — the food is excellent and the staff are absolutely fantastic. The only thing we haven’t been able to understand is how their nachos — which should be a flagship dish in any pub or bar — have consistently been disappointing and poorly prepared for quite a while. We genuinely hope this changes soon.
It has dueling personalities. Trying to be contemporary and nostalgic at the same time ribletts are good. Everything else was satisfactory. Menu a bit lean. I'd go back if someone asked me too
Not recommended. Food portions far too small for the price. Music too loud. You shouldn't have to shout to be heard sitting at a table. Won't be back, not worth our time or money for what we received. Brunch at this place is a HUGE RIPOFF!
