I ordered two Lunch Bento Boxes and was very disappointed. Do not trust the pictures—the actual food looked very different. The Chicken Karaage and Tonkatsu were grey-brown, overcooked, and looked burnt. The “salad” was just shredded cabbage, and the fruit portion consisted of one small slice of orange and one slice of apple, which seemed to have been cut with the same knife used for the meat or fish. The taste was poor, not fresh, and the portion sizes were very small. Please be careful when ordering from this place.
Walked in as my daughters and I were very hungry. It was 4:15pm and the owner said and I quote “only take out no sitting until 4:30pm” I asked her if she can allow as to seat as it’s almost 4:30pm and she said “no one here to take your order” so who was going to take my takeout order? She was very rude the whole time. Horrible customer service. Disappointed at how rude she was. My daughters and I left.
Husband and I had lunch here and really enjoyed it! We ordered the curry with shrimp tempura, udon soup and coleslaw. The meals also came with their own salad, miso soup and octopus balls. Everything was so delicious and we’re looking to coming back!
It’s not easy to find great Asian options in Oakville, but this cute Japanese restaurant is a gem! I’ve dined in and ordered takeout / ubereats numerous times. They have a variety of main and side options. I especially like their seasonal dishes, including their chirashi (ordered multiple times) and nabeyaki udon.
Worst experience ever, we have a little one with us and they won't let her eat her Macdonald happy meal. This is the first time we ever ran into this problem at a restaurant. I understand no outside food policies, but our little one doesn't eat their noodles, and it prevents the adults from enjoying the food. The waitress does not understand little one may need to have their own food. What happens when you bring in a young kid who can only drink milk and soft food, since it's bought outside you can not consume it in the restaurants? It is outrageous...
I recently tried Haru Haru for the first time through Uber, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their dishes. Despite initial uncertainties when trying something new on Uber, I was truly impressed. I ordered the sukiyaki udon, smoked salmon bowl, and enjoyed a BOGO offer on takoyaki. While the takoyaki could have used a bit more sauce, I appreciate the value from the BOGO deal. The sukiyaki don and smoked salmon were outstanding, with flavorful ingredients and perfectly textured noodles. I look forward to ordering again.
The Avacado Udon bowl from HaruHaru is Comfort-In-a-Bowl. The chicken teriyaki curry bowl is equally amazing. This place is run by two amazing ladies... who are such beautiful souls. This place has a cozy and warm vibe to it. Thankyou HaruHaru?for existing!!
