Can't be the good fishing chips.That's family owned for generations. Fish is amazing. The batter is light and fluffy, yet crunchy and delicious. Highly recommended
The restaurant is nice enough. Old feel to it. It was about the fish for me. I guess the oil was too hot to cook it thoroughly. But it was mushy on the inside. I did not like that. Kinda disappointing bc I spent 30 dollars with tip.
I can’t say enough about Bronte Fish and Chips! The traditional values, family recipes, warm smiles— a home away from home, is what you feel when you walk in! The best in town and I highly recommend!?
For God sakes !! Stop cooking all your foods in the same oil , fish taste like onion rings , Chips are nothing special; not even chippy style cut!. Went once , said never . Gave them a second chance , this the chips were very dark in colour and yes nothing changed ; Oakville needs a real chippy .
Our favourite fish and chips take-out place in the area! They have a daily special on Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays. Always fresh and delicious (we usually get a side of coleslaw too). Staff are also very friendly. The one thing I wish they had: homemade tartar sauce! I feel like they’d do such a good job with it! However with that being said, the tartar sauce packets they give out are actually pretty good!
Fish is good. Place is a little dated and portions are small for a $20 fish and chip pack. 3 packs of tater sauce comes with the $20 fish and chips, 3 extra will cost you! Lol.
