Stopped to grab a coffee at their side coffee bar.... 2 coffee orders ahead of me..... had to wait 17 minutes for my hot chocolate.... why?The guy behind the table made 1 coffee while chatting with his friend and then left to chat with him at the table. The Asian girl was left to make 1 cappuccino and my hot chocolate. She made one cappuccino but her design on top wasnt good enough so she dumped it out and started again. She finally finished after some time and began my hot chocolate... OMG is all I can say. Unless you have LOTS of time to wait for a coffee I would not recommend it if you just need to grab a coffee of any type. By the way the hot chocolate wasnt anything special, and at $6.00 I would not go back!!
You should go there if you have a chance! The food is very elaborate and unusual, perfect portion sizes allow you to enjoy a multiple course meal. Great wine list as well. As a bonus, they open huge glass doors facing Oakville Town Square, so it is a very nice atmosphere on a warm summer evening.
One of the best restaurants in the GTA or even Ontario. Great service and selection of courses that delivered a fantastic dining experience. Price was very reasonable compare to the ones in downtown Toronto, courses were visually stunning, not redundant for a 8 course prix fixe and they all tasted wonderful.
Haven't done dinner here yet. So far I've had drinks at the bar. Nice atmosphere since it's very much connected to the rest of the dining space. But my better experience was croissants on a sunday morning. Wow the pastries are delicious and fluffy on the inside. Very upscale experience all round so expect to pay for it.
Amazing experience from start to finish. Well executed service that is friendly but not stuffy, and prompt (lots of changing of cutlery).The 9 course meal was a 2.5 hour food adventure that challenged and excited my palate with different textures (fluffy gnocchi, pop rock sorbet, crispy duck skin) and wonderful tastes. Every dish was a delight and no two flavours were the same.Already dreaming of my next visit....
