Absolutely love this place !!! And im not even a desert person! My all time fav are the Snickerdoodle cupcakes !! Ahhh boy! They are heaven! And the place is so cute !!! They can do more benches and chairs and cute tea sets and it’ll be just PERFECT! You haven’t tried this place yet? I would recommend you to try it out! You’ll love it too!
I can’t say enough good things about The Sweetest Thing! I ordered custom cookies from them for multiple birthdays and each time they’ve over delivered. Not only did the guests love the look of the cookies but some said they were the best cookies they ever tried! If your reading this thinking about going, stop reading and go. If you don't like it contact me and I'll buy your items off you. This place is a rare gem, very much an artesian bakery. Ive been here twice already, sorry I didn't take photos of all the items I've tried. On my first visit I had the gingerbread sandwich cookie and a brownie slice. On this visit I initially purchased a caramel pecan shortbread cookie and a chocolate. brownie type cookie with sprinkles on it. After paying I saw a sign saying "the best blueberry muffin ever". I had to purchase one. So the first thing I'll say is in all their items you can taste the fresh butter. The chocolate items wow, what a blast of chocolate, I love ganache and they use it in their confectionary. I'll start with the muffin. I agree, best muffin ever,. The top is crispy, not what you'd expect at all from a muffin. The rest of the muffin is dense yet soft, packed with whole big blueberries. The top had that amazing sweet buttery flavour, I am still dreaming of that top! The cookies were also good, I wouldn't say the best ever but certianly not something you will find anywhere else. It looks like their items change regularly as they dont put signs, I have to ask the staff what each item is! The brownie, oh man so rich, the perfect combination of dense yet chewy yet soft and pillowy if that makes sense. The chocolate icing is to die for. The gingerbread sandwich cookie, amazing, only thing I didn't like is they roll the outside in Crystal sugar, its overkill, I would buy again but wipe off the sugar. Its not an obscene amount of sugar but too much when the cookie and filling is nicely sweet. Much respect to the ladies baking this stuff right infront of you in the store. Please go and support this business so they stick around. To the business, my hats off to you.
We just had the “sweetest” experience here. Such a fun and beautiful array of cookies that not only look, but taste out of this world. The best “sammies” we have ever had.
My friend had recommended this bakery to me, I have had their baked goodies once before coming to their bakery in person and their baked goods are amazing! I definitely recommend their vanilla cupcake and Skor cookies. The service and atmosphere in the bakery was great! I had went there when it was one of the hottest days and their ice cream was delicious and a great cool down! I look forward to coming back:)
Erin's cake was amazing! Every layer, we had three: raspberry vanilla, nutella and crunch - was so tasty and flavorful! Customized to our floral theme and just altogether an amazing experience! The cookies were a blast! All our guests were talking about how delicious they were! Thank you so much for making our celebration so much more special! :)
You may just consider trading a family member for their baked goods! Please don't try their blueberry muffins, because once you try them and become hooked, that just means less for us! :-)) Love this place!
