Regularly coming here for many years to use the dog washing facility and get treats or food. Good value and customer experience. Will continue to come!
A fantastic place to have our baths. They have a deeper tub for bigger pups. Highly recommend and the staff is awesome and treat Austin with awesome care!
We visited with our son today and really enjoyed the whole shopping experience. The store was clean and very organized compared to many other places we’ve been to. The staffs were extremely helpful and the cat Lucky were super friendly. Will definitely come back shopping more for our dogs!
I love this store super clean and well kept! I shop here for my boyfriends cat and the staff are really nice! This week especially! I went in looking for some catnip for my cat and Julia helped me out!! Her customer service was above and beyond! She was so kind and helpful she seems to care a lot about animals too!!
I come to this store all the time for my cat, the staff is always friendly and the store looks great! I usually see Julia working. She’s always so friendly and thoughtful with what my cat would like, and so sweet with other customers too. Thanks for the great experience!
I had to come in the other day for something quickly, the blonde young woman working was nothing short of excellent, she was bubbly, kind and happy to help. She knew what she was doing and gave great advice! Amazing staff!
We had a similar experience to another fellow reviewer and it’s something this store needs to address or better communicate. Nowhere online or in the store does it state that the “self service” dog wash is by appointment only. We turned up today and asked one of the employees how we pay, she kindly said “you can pay before or after the wash it’s up to you” so we proceeded to the dog wash self service area where we waited for 2 customers to finish. They finished and we walked in and started washing our dogs. I noticed that there were no towels so I walked up to the front desk to ask for a towel and that’s when the lady (different from the first one) proceeded to tell me it was by appointment only, it came across quite rude and abrupt. I told her I wasn’t aware of this as it’s not stated anywhere that this is the policy. She replied with “well it is”. She gave me some towels so we could finish off washing and drying our dogs which we were grateful for. Pet Valu - I’d recommend you clearly state these policies to ensure new customers are aware of this, we aren’t against booking, we purely just weren’t aware and to be honest tarnished our want to come back to that store. I called another Pet Valu asking what their policy was and had a different reception, I was told that during the week you can walk in but on weekends they “preferred” bookings… however didn’t state it was necessary. It takes a small change to your signs in the store to advise your customers appointments are required, this would avoid the unfortunate experiences that your customers have had what looks to be a few times.
