I’ve always had a great experience at Ren’s Pets. The store is clean, well-organized, and quiet, making it easy to browse. They carry a huge variety of products for all kinds of pets, and I’ve never had trouble finding what I need. The staff are fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. Highly recommend!
Friendly helpful staff. We were looking for a new food for the dog that was a Canadian brand. Staff helped us find a good alternative and make the switch. Best part, the dog LOVES the new food!
This was my third visit to this Rens Pets location, and the reason we keep coming back - despite it being out of our way - is because of the consistently great service from Jadzia. She’s helped us each time, from choosing the right food for our puppy to recommending the best value training pads (she even explained the cost breakdown, which I later confirmed was accurate). Today, she shared helpful details about a kibble brand our vet recommended, and I appreciated how much she knew. I have two dogs, and every time I shop here, I leave feeling confident in what I’ve purchased. The store is well-organised and easy to shop. I also liked seeing no-hide chew options right up front - a alternative to rawhide. Definitely my go-to location.
I have been to several Ren's store in and around the GTA, and have to say that the customer service in this store is the worst. My dog and I are used to being welcomed when we enter the store, but there was no greeting (a male employee was busy helping a customer but a female employee was too busy with paperwork at the counter to look up). We looked around, and just before leaving, I asked the female employee if they have any treats. She gestured over to the other side of the counter and said, "They're in the jar". She then went back to her paperwork. My dog looks forward to interacting with Ren's employees, and we left the store feeling very unimportant. If this were our first experience at a Ren's store, we would never step foot in any of your stores. We have always had great experiences at your other locations (especially the Brampton Trinity location - they are responsible for converting us from your competitors) and know that this location is not a good representation of the Ren's brand. The products and selection were great but the customer service, not great at all.
Went to check out some bf deals tonight. They had good stock and the lady who was on the shift was very friendly and attentive which I really appreciated.
Opening more stores was a mistake. Ren’s used to be reliable for grooming equipment and supplies and now they’ve become a generic overpriced pet store with nothing different to offer from other chains.
It's great to have a rens pets so close by! We went in trying to get some stuff for a new pet we got and the employees told us what they did about everything. It was great! Thanks for the help
