On the 25/10 there was a hijabi white woman who denied medication to my dad just because she isn't well trained, and said he didn't have the correct documentation. This is ridiculous and I hope she is fired because that CANNOT be possible, putting at risk people's health.

I hardly ever use this Pharmacy. But it is close to me and of course hours are convenient. I worked 12 hr shift today, went to see my doctor, found bad news about my health and decided to take my prescription to this Shoppers as opposed to my regular pharmacy as they would be closed by now. I got attitude straight up from pharmacy assistant. Which threw me off guard right away. So i waited for my prescription. The pharmacist ( very young lady) did not know what the drug was, to my question how to take it the answer was : Your doctor didn't tell you? I also asked about some health concern of mine and if the drug will affect it, she said she does not know and has to check, all with irritation as if i asked her to wash my toilet instead of prescription question. Both of my parents are retired pharmacists. I was shocked. Needless to say this was my last visit.
I recently purchased $600 in Petro Canada gift cards at shoppers drug Mart on Kerr Street in Oakville. Not one of them worked - I went to two separate Petro Canada stations and asked them to scan the cards. When I went back to shoppers drug Mart, they were unable to help me. I had to contact customer service and apparently a third-party now has to investigate. I would definitely not recommend purchasing gift cards at shoppers because if they don't work, it becomes your problem After 2 weeks I was offered a $600 shoppers drug mart gift card instead as the gift cards I purchased were not able to be activated. But I cannot purchase new gift cards with the shoppers gift card only products from shoppers. Never again
Clean store, however i found the Optimum Points were a bit of a hunt to locate. To increase sales i would suggest putting "The Sale/Specials" in one location and/or closer together if possible. Obviously the Frozen and Refrigerated items excluded. This would prevent shoppers from looking everywhere for deals and points.
