I’ve been coming to Oakville Auto Centre for years (after they were referred to me) and have always found them dependable, honest, and extremely helpful. Adam and the team provide clear advice and options you can count on. They’ve taken great care of my car, and now my daughter’s as well. If you need trustworthy service, talk to Adam. I've been here before a few years back to have a puncture fixed. And now again today for the same reason but different car. They are honest and offer amazing service. It's a family run operation so they really take care of there customers. 2 way up!
I was looking for a good mechanic for a long time. I recently brought may ram to get it fixed. I received an amazing service. The owner is just simply amazing the service is exceptional. From now on this is the only place i go to and fully trust.
I really wish I didn’t have to write such a poor review but I use to love going to this shop as they were always reliable and trustworthy, most of my immediate family brought cars here, and I would recommend them to anyone.. until about a year ago when things started to change, I brought a car in for an oil change, when we picked up the car they said the car wasn’t really safe to drive as it needed balljoints, as the car was safetied only 2 weeks prior to it going in for the oil change and if it needed balljoints it would not of passed safety… so I took the car to another shop around the corner, (neetronics) and had the staff look at the car there to which they checked the balljoints. Which has 0 play in them and did not need to be replaced. The second issue was when we took a vehicle in for a fuel tank replacement, yes we know it’s going to be a time consuming and costly job $900- but when we picked up the vehicle it was still leaking fuel.. because they didn’t check any of the fuel lines to see if anything needed to be replaced, even though this should have been looked over when replacing a tank lol. however part of the $900 was a $300 miscellaneous fee when asked what the fee was for we were told “tubes and stuff”. Which is frustrating cause it was still leaking fuel.. We didn’t bring the vehicle back right away like we should have because my niece was away with the car and didn’t get back until a week ago, when we called to ask if the lines were checked when the gas tank was done, there magically is no record of the service or the car being in the shop or worked on… So we brought the car back to be looked at and they determined it needed lines.. which they would have known if they looked at them the first time they did the tank.. my niece got them to do the work..she picked up the car and paid almost $600.. few days later the car is still leaking fuel.. and this is the $600 fix they did nylon Line that’s barely tied on with zip ties.
All of my automotive business goes directly to this team and their crew. Extremely thorough and professional with nothing but good reviews and feedback. Adam, you’re one of the many reasons I speak so highly of this company and refer all my friends/colleagues in your direction. On May 7th I visited Oakville Auto centre for getting my vessel Safety Standard Certificate for the purpose of transferring a car on my name. The staff was very courteous, they handle the job very smartly and professionally. My car had two short coming to get the clean certificate. As per their recommendations I got the job done through Canadian tire auto centre and Speers Auto Glass. On May 8th I brought the car back to Oakville Auto Centre for second inspection after the recommended work was done. On my request they give me preference and did my final inspection with in 30 minutes. The receptionist Ms May Taberna is a very courteous professional and smiling face. Took my mini van in for an inspection & oil change. A day later, they billed me $800 for TAKING MY MOTOR OUT. I didn’t ask them to do that. Had to pay it anyway. Van still isn’t up to par either. It was brought to my attention that the reviews on Yelp are wildly different than on google. Lots of stories similar to mine. Be careful!
