She is always incredibly honest and attentive to what I want and how she will be able to accomplish it. Whatever she promises me she always overdelivers :) Suzie and the staff are always so kind and ensure I am comfortable and taken care of every step of the way. Anyone who chooses Suzie as a stylist is incredibly lucky, your in good hands.

I had a very disappointing experience at this salon. I came in with long hair and was given to a trainee who clearly wasn’t fully trained. The blow dry was done poorly and another stylist had to step in, which ended up taking almost two hours just for a blow dry. On top of that, the trainee scratched my face with his nail – extremely unprofessional and unhygienic. When I went to pay, I politely shared my feedback with the cashier, and instead of acknowledging it, she rudely told me “then don’t come here again.” That kind of response is shocking and unacceptable. I will definitely never be coming back here.
I had a fantastic experience with Dominic. He gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve had in a long time, sharp, flattering, and exactly what I was hoping for. He took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered expert suggestions that really elevated the final look. The atmosphere at the salon is welcoming and professional, and Dominic’s attention to detail truly stands out. Highly recommend!
Worst haircut I ever had, not sure about the female cuts but terrible guy’s haircut. I came in clean about what I wanted and even showed photos of exactly what I wanted, Marco just did what he felt like. Took off months worth of hair that I need to regrow now and I will look like a pineapple for weeks. He didn’t even use clippers fittings, just eyeballed it, I asked for a fade, he just buzzed everything down to a 1. Afterwards no accountability, just telling me it looks good and it’s my head shape not the haircut. The whole cut took 10 minutes, and was butchered with surprising efficiency. At least they gave me a refund but now I have to spend months growing back my hair. Go to price cuts for $10, you will get better quality.
I am a loyal client of Alysha since 2008. I used to travel a lot for work and had haircuts in different cities around the country but no one did a better job than her. Now that I no longer travel for work, Alysha is my go to hairstylist.
I won a gift card for Hair Design Co at a fundraiser and was excited to try it out because my hair was in need of a serious revamping (dead, frizzy and broken). I thought I was only going for a hair cut but Susie took the time to do a detailed consultation and suggested the Olaplex treatment to fix up my dead hair. I could not be happier with the results. My hair is back to being shiny and smooth and even blonder than before. Susie also took the time to cut my hair in a way that would be flattering for me and took the time to get rid of every visible split end. Highly recommend and will definitely be a returning client!!
My first time first impression was that the place is very clean and has a groovy interior (ceilings lights and black pipes). My haircut appointment was with Suzy and she is so personable and welcoming. The consultation process was great- she listened patiently to what I wanted done to my hair and also gave me her own suggestions. The head massage she gave me at the time of my hair wash was so relaxing. And she did exactly what I wanted with layers. Also she would give me an update on what she is doing which is great. I just hate it when hair stylists go on for a full hour doing stuff with you hair and don't tell you what they're doing, so you're in a mystery as to what is going on. I found my new go-to salon! I called Hair design to take an appt for highlights and cut. Was informed curtly on the phone when I gave them my number( as I visit Hair design often )that because I had a cancellation in the past they need a credit card to book my appt !?!?!?!?!? I have been their customer ever since we moved to Oakville in 2005 and they were at Neyagawa. I have given them several referrals as I was so happy with their service but after today....There will be no good or positive feedback for you Hair Design .. ever. You need a 24 hour notice for cancellation, well guess what... Sometimes life happens and thats not possible. Would you have been okay if I came to the appt with a bout of viral flu?!? Now that I think of it, I should have kept my appt and contaminated your esteemed, high headed place .I feel so ridiculous after this call to you today. There are umpteen number of salons....and will have mine and my friends and families business.This post about my experience will be shared in every group/every local organisation I am a part of.You are in the community because of people like us who valued you. If you fail to value my business.. I dont consider you a part of my community anymore.
