When my stylist left a few years ago, I tried another salon -3 times- and was not happy. Went back to Rainbow Expressions and they matched me with Barbie who has been cutting my hair and making me beautiful ever since - until now. Because of scheduling difficulties, Barbie could not cut my hair but, again, they found me someone else. Anrika, who has been training at the shop for over a year cut my hair and it was wonderful. My neighbour and someone at church are clients of Silvana and they always look great. If only the Blue Jays had this depth in their bull pen.
Great lively shop. Extremely well managed and staffed. One of the happiest and busiest (for good reason) places I've ever experienced. First rate!
I had a cut and colour done by Silvana and I'm super happy with the results ! She was very friendly, checked with me every step of the way to make sure I got exactly what I wanted, and I left with my hair looking exactly like what I had in mind when I walked in. Highly recommend !
Had my prom hair updo and makeup done by Paula. She is super nice and really good at her job. The hairstyle and makeup looked amazing and stayed perfectly for the entire night! Great job!
I had colour done without a blow dry, and called back two hours later to express dissatisfaction that it looked almost the same as before. The stylist had all sorts of ideas on how to fix it, but when I asked about the cost of correction, she said she would have to call me back. She called back and told me that there would be an associated cost, but that she didn't know how much it would be. I never heard back, so followed up myself, twice. Finally she said "about 20 dollars," followed by "Actually, I don't know - I'll have to ask the owner and get back to you." Again, I never heard back. The lack of professionalism is more concerning than the lack of skill. Organization, consistent policies, and courtesy seem to be lacking. As a matter of principle, I will not do business with an establishment with poor customer service. I have since gone to Mynt, and have been impressed with both their level of skill and professionalism.
