Ryan and his team, Adam, David and Mike were simply tremendous and provided the right advice and customer service to help us in our time of need. They quickly assessed our HVAC issues and provided the right counsel and recommendations. We are new to Oakville and we’re looking for a company that stood behind what they provide. Not only were they quick to answer our call (and we called several companies) they arrived within a couple hours and also scheduled our installation the next day. They have expert knowledge and experience to ensure it was done right the first time. We installed a new Carrier heat pump and furnace. The old adage is true, you get what you pay for, and when you buy a product, it’s only half of the equation, how it’s installed is the other half. Brock & Mike, from Appleby Systems, arrived on time and we were notified ahead of this concerning their arrival. We were asked if we had any questions before the AC installation was begun. Basically all the work performed by these 2 gentlemen was neat, precise and effective to the homeowner. They were polite and considerate of their workspace for this installation. Afterwards they explained the work and inquired if we had any questions. I would rate them as very professional and knowledgeable. They also had to work under miserable weather conditions but carried on without any complaints. Job well and Appleby Systems is highly recommended. TY
James did an excellent job servicing my gas fireplace. He is thorough and careful in his work and conducts himself very professionally. This was my first time using Appleby Systems and I was pleased with the helpfulness and efficiency of the customer service department when booking my appointment. Brock & Trevor repaired the severed ( by a tree contractor) refrigerant lines to my AC unit. They arrived on time, completed the work quickly and efficiently, were tidy and evened helped me with a small problem I had with my recently installed furnace. Two nice young men. Appleby is lucky to have them.
I just got a smart thermostat installed with beyond expectation experience. When I got my service booked I was informed before hand the possible challenge involved as the thermostat I got is a rare brand. I was provided a couple of options and informed that there might be additional charges depending on how difficulty the installation is. Technician (Bryan) came right on time. He did the installation professionally and the whole process went smoothly with no extra work and charge. He also replaced furnace filter for us and removed some blockage on the AC tube without us asking him to do the work. The technician also provided good tips on maintaining furnace and AC. Excellent service and great customer experience!!
Appleby Systems came out on July 13th, within days of my original inquiry, and took their time to give me a thorough and professional - and well priced - quote. I did the financing application, was approved a week later, and originally given a timeframe of 1.5 - 2 weeks for arrival of parts and installation. Fast forward to the end of the first timeframe, and the parts hadn't come in yet; with the pandemic and first hand experience with shortages of items this year, I was understanding, and Appleby Systems even loaned me a heavy duty portable AC unit to get me through. Unfortunately this unit was so heavy duty, it would trip the breaker after only a few hours of use. On August 5th, I got an email stating the parts would be arriving in a week, but sadly, I never heard anything more about it. On August 14th, after I reached out to Appleby Systems again, I got a reply stating my units were supposed to be in Montreal now, and just needed to get to Burlington, and that the general manager would contact me to schedule installation - unfortunately, I never did hear from this manager. Finally, after a 7 week wait period, the units arrived the first week of September, and installation was completed just a few days later. Despite my units taking far longer than I was told they would to arrive, and there were some drops in communication between them and myself, my system is now installed and running perfectly, and I am thrilled with how easy it is to operate, how thorough and professional the installation was, and how well it's been working!
