Hired Joe to do some hard pipe installation, and fix a leak. Great guy to deal with, and the finished work is exactly what i wanted. A1 Service! would not hesitate to contact again for future work!
Excellent work! Joe and his team changed my AC unit after the old one died. They came out same day to take a look and provide a quote and were able to install the new unit within a couple days. Great price and service overall!
I have used services of Spectrum twice. Once, for having my fireplace cleaned and turned on. Second time , my AC was making loud noise. Joe was able to stop by at a short notice and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Highly recommended for all your hvac and fireplace needs!
Joe was able to fit me in the next day even though the issue wasn't super urgent. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem and also replaced a badly corroded pipe. Friendly, honest and clearly knows what he's doing.
Joe had his team investigate a 2.5 year problem we were having with lack of hot water and pressure. Reliance was under contract to fix this and sent numerous techs/plumbers to fix it-they were unsuccessful. Joe's team finally got the approval and fixed the issue within 1 hour! Called spectrum to diagnose and repair my water heater. He came in during the long weekend and promptly fixed the issue within 2 days (part was unavailable for an immediate fix). Good response and fair price.
1) Wasn't very friendly 2) Was never on time 3) Overcharged us for barely any work 4) Was difficult to get in touch with / took forever to call us back The experience started off great, but quickly went south. We had scheduled the installation guys (who were great) to help us with another service, when our AC broke. We called Joe a week before our scheduled appointment to ask that if while they're here they could take a look at our unit to see if it's fixable, or if we need to replace it and he said absolutely. While the installers were waiting for our water heater to drain, they took a look at the AC unit (for approximately 10 minutes) and informed us that they would need to come back with the proper tools to do a full diagnostic. They charged us an hours labour, and an ADDITIONAL call out fee of $100. So for 10 MINUTES of extra work (while they were already here standing around waiting in our driveway) we were charged an extra $200!! The majority of their time was spent waiting around for their boss to call them back because the installers had asked if they could waive the call out fee...since they were already here!... which was declined. Paying the additional labour wouldn't have been so bad, but to pay the extra call out fee when you were already here, and didn't even bring the right tools (though we asked you a week in advance) is just plain ridiculous, and bad business. I would not recommend Joe, or Spectrum for any project that you have. There are many other small business out there, that would be happy to do the job and not rip you off. I can't say enough negative things about this experience, so I will leave it with that. I'd HIGHLY recommend Cushing Heating & Air out of Fergus Ontario for any needs that you might have.
