This place has to be the worst car dealership I have ever dealt with I have a 2014 Chevrolet cruze and have had to put more money into this car I had to take out a 1500.00 and now one for a 1000.00 dollars they don't answer there phones can't reach anyone I am stuck in this lease with a car that was garbage from the beginning when I got it in 2022 and can't get out of the lease I would seriously not recommend going with this company who does this kind of business I called all day yesterday and today with no luck it just keeps ringing and than hangs up what kind of business runs like this I have put more money in the vehicle than its worth but don't know what to do or who to trun to
If I could leave a negative star I would … I normally don’t leave reviews, but my experience with Key Auto has been so frustrating that I feel other customers deserve to be warned. This is the second vehicle I’ve purchased from this dealership — my first experience was fine, but this most recent one has been nothing but stress and disappointment. Within 30 days of buying my car, the check engine light came on. I was told to bring it to a warranty shop over an hour away, which I had to do twice. I even had to pay for an Uber home when they said the car wouldn’t be ready for hours, only to later be told the repair wouldn’t be covered and would cost over $5,000 out of pocket. On top of that, I was promised a set of winter tires with my purchase back in January, which I still have not received despite months of calls, texts, and emails. Their voicemail is constantly full, and the salesperson I dealt with (Tyler) has completely ignored my messages. I’ve sent multiple emails, including a formal written notice, and have received no response at all. I’ve since filed a formal complaint with OMVIC and am preparing to take legal action if this isn’t resolved immediately. At this point, I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Key Auto. My experience has been filled with broken promises, zero communication, and a complete lack of accountability! Responding to your reply! I’ve emailed the address provided in your reply but, as with my previous attempts, have not heard anything back. This issue has been ongoing since January, and I’m still without the winter tires that were part of my purchase. I really hope this message doesn’t go ignored like all the others.
Have been trying to get in contact with anyone from here literally anyone I’ve called over 100 times sent email and Facebook message can someone please contact me
1 year 3 months and I am still waiting for someone to take responsibility for selling me an absolute lemon. Has cost me thousands just to make it somewhat drivable. How in the world Key Auto is allowed to sell vehicles is beyond me! Buyer beware, you'll probably end up with a vehicle you can't drive and totally ghosted by customer service and your sales person!!!! If I could give less than 1 star I would!!!! -5 is more like it. I purchased a vehicle in July first off the vehicle I was sold was a lariat, delivered was an XTR, far cry from a lariat, 1 week into ownership the vehicle is throwing engine codes left right and center. I brought it up with the sales person DJ only to be brushed off and blocked. He has not returned any of my text, calls or emails. I can't even drive the vehicle due to all the codes. I have emailed the main office with no response. I want the right truck, I want the issues fixed. I have reported to BBB and OMVIC at this point. I will proceed with legal action if necessary. Blocking and not responding to customers that are having issues is not a way to do business. Run as far away as possible from Key Auto UPDATE: Key auto took no responsibility for their actions and pawned it off of Ontario Car Broker (Rafi) to fix the issues. The truck was gone for quite awhile with no rental, the tires that came back the first time were someone else's tires entirely (not road worthy at all regardless) and the engine should have been replaced however, it was not and continues to knock. Rafi from Ontario Car Brokers still has not provided the second key and work order as promised and has completely ignored me since a week before Christmas. Again in the position of being ignored from now both companies. Again I say, unless you want to be put into this position, run away as far as you can and go to a reputable dealership. 2nd Update: Rafi is not licensed to sell vehicles with OMVIC, he should not have even touched the vehicle. I encourage anyone with the same situation to contact OMVIC immediately. Laura Davidson should not be licensed to sell vehicles either, how she has a dealer number is beyond me
I’m a bit on the fence of writing a review and only doing this due to the person that reached out Jose to help fix my matters that had been happening since I got my truck in oct, he worked with me on fixing the matter and providing me the proper information and took on making sure things were done, he personally came to my house on his day off to help access the issues I had been experiencing and checking the truck himself, the issue was with the old management Dom, Jose made the efforts to make sure I was not left high and dry, I will say once he was made aware of what had happened to me he put in the work for me, I would recommend working with Jose as he seems to be a honest person that is wanting to make a difference with key auto and make them a better team all together on making sure they are providing the services they should be providing to people he was honest and straight forward about everything and how things should have been handled vs to how they were handled.
