We have had nothing but positive experiences with Dennis'. We brought our 2015 Nissan rogue, in for the front breaks, yesterday, and Loretta and Mark really are GREAT!! We are NOT rich people and they were SO patient and understanding with us!! Frankly, we consider ourselves blessed to have such a good hearted Mechanic working on our car!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was extremely embarrassing and they never once made us feel bad. (If something like this had of happened at our old mechanic, "Good Neighbor Garage", the guys there would have flipped out, threatened to sue, and make a huge scene. I've seen it happen so many times!) Needless to say, Dennis Auto, was the polar opposite, and we could not be more grateful!!!!! Cars are expensive to fix. That is just the unfortunate reality that we all live in, so I don't think it's fair to blame the mechanic for an expensive bill. I can respect a mechanics honest assessment. What I DONT respect, is when someone tries to gouge you; and Dennis Auto has NEVER even tried to gouge us. They are not drones who just halfass the job, they are genuinely honest, attentive, and professional and they NEVER pressure you!! The simple fact alone, is why we keep coming back. If you find a GOOD, HONEST, car mechanic, you keep them forever, and Dennis' Auto has been our good, honest, mechanic.
A bit of a letdown this time. I had my brakes done here before, and they did a great job. Since I’m a returning customer and my family also comes here, I expected a bit more transparency. I recently had an issue with my windshield wipers and just wanted to have it checked out. I was surprised to be charged $150 for the inspection without being informed beforehand that there would be a fee. To make matters worse, the repair quote I received was higher than what other nearby shops were offering.
I’m very pleased with the service provided by Dennis’ of Oakville. After I taking my Cruze on a trip, I encountered a few problems when I came back home. Dennis’ of Oakville provided honest servicing with no pressure tactics. I have continued to come here and I can trust that they will do the job right.
Rude for no reason. I called them up asking if they can fix a problem I've been having with my ignition switch and they asked the make and model of the car. As soon as I mentioned it, they responded with one word: "Nope!" and before I could say anything, I heard the phone slam against the receiver. Sorry you don't like Volkswagens
I have known Dennis for over 38 years. I even worked with Dennis for a couple years. He is a decent kind hearted family man and I feel safe and secure knowing that .Dennis and his mechanics are taking care of our vehicles. You won’t be disappointed.
I once took my car here for a $19.99 oil change with the coupon from the newspaper. They changed the oil, and when they charged me, they charged an extra $5 plus tax. I asked what the extra charge was for. They said my Pontiac sunfire needed "special oil" , which is obviously a lie. One week later, the engine over heated. I took the car to my mom's mechanic friend and they said there was no oil in the car. The car didn't leak any oil. My car was destroyed and they ripped me off. Thanks Denis.
A place to get oil change. Went there for emission test and oil change and that was first time. Subsequent times when I was there, they try to sell services that are not necessary. My wife received a quote of $385 for a small repair. Same thing we got it done for $88 in Mississauga on the very same day.
