Wanted to return a pant bought online but as it was a sale item asked for a store credit (I am a loyal customer for many years). I was not returning but just asking for a store credit. The customer service lady was ready to make the credit when the store manager walked in and said she could not do that and was quite rude about it. Never had to face this at a Melanie Lyne. Will think twice about going to the Square One location again!
I've always received excellent customer service and support at this location in the past. Unfortunately today I selected a top and when I went to purchase it I noticed that there was a stain on it. I let the lady behind the cash register know and she didn't say or do anything??? I walked away and went back and selected another top that wasn't stained and another sales lady approached and I informed her about the stain. All she said was did you find another one in your size. I replied yes and again informed her about the stain. She just folded it up and put it back. Unacceptable in my humble opinion. Why didn't anyone take it away and have it cleaned before returning it to the shelf is my question? Very unprofessional in my humble opinion.
I am so disappointment with online purchase that arrived damaged.! Upon receiving the item, I discovered it was badly damaged. Next day I visited the Melanie Lynn store on Oakville Place to exchange it. The store did not have the dress in my size, and I asked for the refund where I was told that I could ONLY receive a store credit. The store manager was so RUDE and lousy..! . I am feeling miserable! I have spent my time and my money for nothing. I don’t know what to do with the store credit now because I don’t trust Melanie Lynn and I don’t like to visit unprofessional customer service person in the store anymore.
Always amazing customer service which is unusual these days. Always willing to help in any way they can. Recently, the manager of the store, I think, went out of her way to help me with an online order gone awry. The problem got solved. Amazing team.
Not sure why the Website lists a number of brands that are "supposedly" carried at Melanie Lyne, when NONE are carried there. The only brands they had at this Oakville location was their own ML or Laura brands. Certainly there was ZERO Ribkoff or Lyman. They should update their site to remove 99% of the brands which are not stocked at the shops. Waste of my time and won't go back to ML again.
Loved the sales lady at the Oakville Place location. Bought a jacket that was on sale, well worth the money. Because they are a smaller store I find they have more sizes available than the bigger stores.
