Gita was beyond helpful. She went above and beyond for me. I missed the Pandora sale, where on its last day, the stores had closed by then and my last option was to purchase online. As I tried to purchase it on-line (prior to midnight) i learned Pandora does not allow Canadian online shopping!!! What was i to do? I took desperate measures and decided to email Skyway and requested if I could buy the item the following day - even though the sale would be over by then. I knew it was a long shot but surprisingly enough, within a few minutes, Gita responded to my email by calling me (after hours and on fathers day)!!!! She told me she would not be able to offer me the deal on the following day (given it was Pandoras sale). She offered to meet me later that evening- after her fathers day dinner so that i could still get the deal before midnight . I declined her offer because i did not want to inconvenience her, but she continously insisted and said it wasn't a bother at all ( talk about service)!!! When i met her at the store, it was late and yet she did not rush me. Gita knows her product well, has a tasteful eye in helping her customers find the right piece. She is a natural and has a wonderful personality. She diffenatly takes pride in her work. This was my second visit and i have been very happy with my purchases. Acceptional customer service! I would buy from them again.
Only 1 star because I couldn't give them no starts. The worst customer service ever. When they were in Hopedale mall, their service was pretty good, but now, it just isn't there. Left a watch to get the battery replaced and was told the jeweler would be in at 2:00 to 3:00. Dropped by at 4:10 and he hadn't arrived yet. I was told he'd be in and that they would call me. 1:24pm the next day, I call and find out it's done. No phone call, no explanation, nothing. Furthermore, they tell me their hours are until 6:00. I don't get into town until after 6:00. Oh and when I went in at 4:10, was attacked by 2 freaking dachshunds. Who lets dogs run free in a jewelry store?

The customer service here is amazing. We have been going here for years now and we always receive great, personal service. The owner even gave us his home number in case they are ever closed and we need something. And we really don't spend extravagantly at this store so it's not like we get special service because we are dropping lots of cash. Great Ma and Pa family run business. Much rather give them my business over a big box jewellery store. Don't listen to the previous review about how it's horrible service. Sometimes the CUSTOMER is the problem.
What a great store for all kinds of interesting items. Repairs are done well, store is new and clean, the owners are fantastic, and the pricing is fair on all items (more so on the custom work) and I too have seen the dachshunds....cute little dogs....nice personal touch. Unlike the last post I like the dogs! Keep it up Skyway!
